The older lady agreed to pay 15 monthly payments of $100 totaling $1,500 and acknowledged that she has only paid one of the monthly payments. So why is she acting all shocked and surprised that she has to pay the remaining balance of $1,400? I mean come on. It's not like Judge Judy ordered her to pay it back in blood.

The plaintiff is clearly a Karen. She pays $100 of a $1,500 horse & thinks she’s going to not pay the rest of the $1,400. Instead of paying the balance of the horse she wants the seller to pay the feeding & boarding of the horse. It’s an obvious scam. I ❤️ the defendant’s reaction.

Would you continue to make payments to someone who lied, committed fraud and sent you an item that was not as described or agreed upon? You never heard of the Federal Trade Commission Holder Rule? Look it up, it might save you a lot of money one of these days. What would you do if you tried numerous times to send it back and they blocked your communication, refused to pick up certified letters from the post office, reported you to Canada Customs for trying to smuggle a stolen horse across the border ( horse being sent back to his legal owner was a brown and white pinto and hers was a solid chestnut) There were 2 photos of the Canadian horse and he was very clearly a pinto who could pull a cart and not a solid chestnut that no ethical trainer would ask to pull a cart. I can go on about all the crazy things she said and did. All of which I can prove.

Ok, yes you're all correct, I am crazy and there are good reasons that I am the way I am, I challenge every single one of you to stay sane and stay alive after all I have been through, and what I am going to share is just the tip of the iceberg. 34 years ago, next week I lost my 11hour old daughter as a result of a horrible medical mistake. One simple medical test and one dose of antibiotics would have saved her life, just try to live with that reality. 4.5 years later on Christmas Eve, her father/my husband announced to me that he did not love me, that he had never loved me and that he had only married me to get away from his parents. In the meantime he was also telling good friends of mine terrible lies about me and turned them against me, and later he also told my three children lies about me and succeeded in poisoning them against me to the point where I have lost the love of one of them and with her three grandchildren, try to live with that reality as well. I was dealing with the anger of that one daughter and the parental alienation at the time that Summer took advantage of me, she sent me a horse that she said was top show quality, but instead he had very crooked legs and was unable to perform the tasks I had told her I wanted him for. Legally I had the right to send him back because she had committed fraud, but she refused to take him back and made threats and told more lies. She lied over and over again not only to me, but to the mediator and to the staff at the Judge Judy show. Then the producers lied to me and told me that Judge Judy would take the time to question me and listen to my evidence. My evidence was totally solid, I had done my homework. So, when I had my breakdown and was sitting there saying "Not again" it was because I was faced with the fact that I had been lied too again. So go ahead and have your laughs and think I am crazy, just know that you are doing it at the expense of a mother who has been to hell and back and was taken advantage and lied to by Summer Ruegger and the producers at the Judge Judy show.

My Mistake - Thanks for looking those up - It was Mine That Bird that I was thinking about, but the purchase price was $9,500 not $1,500. I was way off. For some reason I thought it was much less than that. Not that $9,500 is a ton of money for a horse that would eventually win the Kentucky Derby (as you said some can go for hundreds of thousands of dollars), but that's not the $1,500 that I was thinking for some reason. That's weird because I really remember $1,500 for some reason. But it was purchased as a yearling for $9,500. I just looked it up. It was definitely Mine That Bird. Sorry about that.

Wait...so essentially the plaintiff "bought" a horse from the defendant, only made 1 payment, now wants the defendant to PAY HER for her own horse? MORE than what the defendant even "sold" it to her for?? Mann, if self-entitlement was a person... Her dramatics at the end are so mind blowing. Because how tf is she shocked that she lost? She literally tried to buy a horse and charge the seller for selling it to her.
@reesegabrielle9522
@reesegabrielle9522 2 жыл бұрын
Well if you get a new truck and pay monthly they can repo if you do not. She said she was sold the horse under the understanding that the buyer will lay $100 a month for 15 months to pay off the horse. She only paid one payment of $100 over a year prior. Horses are very expensive and normal bording is way more monthly than what the woman got away with. At the end of it she signed the paper and knew what she was signing. She had a long time. And honestly anyone who can’t afford $100 monthly for basic animal care/needs such as food etc which a horse will most definitely go through with getting their feet done on top of everything else, shouldn’t have the responsibility of a horse. I pay $100 every month just in dog food alone. Everyone is different but animals always require care and the payment for the animal alone does not imply how expensive they will end up being in total through their life.
@meagandoesthings
@meagandoesthings 2 жыл бұрын
The plaintiff was trying to "return" the horse but didn't agree to any if the terms in the contract. So when the defendant wouldn't take the horse back, she thought she then had grounds to counter sue for an animal that she felt wasn't hers anymore. But plaintiff didn't take care of the first part, disputing the contract, which ultimately messed her over in the end. Since there was no "legal standing to prove" the horse is the defedants, the horse was still plantiffs. That's why this went so fast. Plaintiff went right to money, not to the contract, and so there's no terms to sue. Game over. Now, if the contract had been overturned, then defendant might have lost..

If she can’t pay $100 monthly then why does she have a horse?! It costs so much more for vet and farrier bills plus board. People at the barn I ride at pat $575 monthly and she can’t even pay $100 monthly for 15 months. She got a great deal with that contract instead of paying the $1500 upfront.

This little horse has deformed legs, I tried to return him and she at first refused and then made it very difficult. I couldn't just stop taking care of her horse, he needed to be boarded, Fed, hooves trimmed every six weeks. Read the article I posted and pm me and I will send you photos of him. This wasn't about the money, this was about having been scammed. Summer saw an opportunity to get rid of a "defective horse and offloaded him onto me.

@risenfallacy3197
@risenfallacy3197 2 жыл бұрын
Paused and read the document. Basically her written statement of what occurred. The lady agreed to start paying in Jan. In Feb she said the horse is defective take it back instead of paying. In March the defendant came to pick up the animal and the old lady relocated the horse. Said the defendant abandoned the animal on her property and she wouldn't return it until the costs of its upkeep/food was repaid. So judge Judy figured out this was poor terminology for a payment plan, not lease to own. This old lady tried to steal a horse for a hundred bucks and was dumb enough to go to court about it. So judge says you aren't getting any money for that. Old lady is thinking well I still have the horse so HA! Have fun finding it. Or thinking "There is no horse to return so I win." Judge Judy makes it simple. Instead of going through the power struggle of obtaining a horse the seller didn't want back in the first place. Keep the horse, pay the rest of the money. DONE. You can't prove the animals defective anyways. You wouldn't let anyone see it. Old lady must have thought there'd be some bargaining or something for the return of the horse.... Honestly given the claim of defective, and never found again. Tells me it died. So she was probably hoping to have the last laugh with that info drop, and JJ saw it coming. Animal welfare was contacted after so many months and they could not find the horse. So it's a good bet this horse died cuz of whatever reason. She didn't lease to own. She bought it on a 15 month payment plan. The horse died. The debt is still owed. Kinda like when you make payments on a car and it just blows out and stops working. You still owe the cost you agreed to at the beginning. The horse being taken back was a FAVOR by the seller, to protect their reputation as a horse breeder/seller. They came to pick up the defective animal, but couldn't find a horse to bring back. But we're told you can have the horse after you pay our stable fees you never agreed to. Until then we won't tell you where it is. Pay the seller the amount of the horse. No one cares what you did with it. You bought it. It's yours. You can't begin to blame the seller for a defective animal you refused them from seeing. Imagine buying a car on a payment plan, hiding the car in another state. Then telling the bank they can have the car back once they pay parking/storage fees... That's what this old bitter woman tried to do to get out of the fact she either stole or killed a horse and didn't want to pay for it. JJ protected the defendants reputation by not getting into all the BS of what's going to end up being about a dead horse.

How the plaintiff chirpily responds with “Okay” when she is told by JJ she’s not getting any money yet has a drama attack after is laughable. How she thought she’d get any money out of this is crazy - said she was given a defective horse and just stood there quietly without trying to defend her “case”. It’s so obvious from early on that she had no case anyway, especially when she says “It was a lease to own purchase” yet didn’t say anything about the horse being “defective”. Lease to own = contract to pay resulting in ownership. Pay. Oh no I have to pay I should have a drama attack and maybe the judge will feel sorry for me and I won’t have to pay. Snooze. 😂

@@gabriellebuie5788 nope, wrong answer, it had nothing to do with money being tight. It has to do with having dealt with a woman who kept lying and changing her story, who perjured herself on legal court documents, who filed fraudulent theft and smuggling reports to Canada Customs when I was helping a friend legally get her brown and white pinto (not a nearly solid chestnut) home to her in Canada. Someone who filed in the wrong jurisdiction and wrong state and then argued with the judge that she was right and the judge was wrong, until the judge blew up, yelled at her and slammed a huge book on her desk. So if she can cause a judge to loose it within just a few minutes, imagine what dealing with her craziness for over a year did to me.

I love how Summer/Sommer reacted to her win!!😂😂👏🏻 The show pays for the one who won the case anyways so Pinky doesn’t have to be so dramatic.

When JJ says "Stop playing with me and mentions lunch," you've already lost, it's just a matter of how bad.
