@Crazycatlady7111 ай бұрын
My son was in the exact same situation years ago. He was 19, driving down a multi lane freeway, a girl pulls out in front of him, coming out of a mall parking lot. They crashed. She blamed him because he was speeding, and I have little doubt that he was in fact speeding. However, like this case, she was at fault. She even took him to court. Judge ruled in my son's favor. She was suing for her car damages and everyone in her car took ambulances to the hospital, so she was wanting medical cost as well. I can't remember if she had insurance or not. My son was scared to death when he called me that night. It totaled his car and only had liability insurance.

@@MalakStarfire The law not agreeing with me doesn't equal the law is infinitely correct forever. Rules are meant to be tested to see if they make sense, not followed as gospel for all time. That's the entire reason we still have humans as judge and jury (well in actual jury cases), to test said laws. And I say the guy who *was speeding and caused an accident* is the guy who caused an accident, not a guy pulling out from a stop sign getting sideswiped by some speeding prick. A piece of paper should not magically absolve an accident causer of all guilt, because then they get away with murder and you're gonna go "but the insurance tho."

He has a lot of class, that man. He mentors kids on the side. A really good guy. The posts where the dopey people keep saying Judge Judy threw him under the bus, just shows how little some people understand. It takes more than 15 minutes to produce a show. This is the one she had planned all along. Byrd is smooth and a real class act.
