Even his lawyer can’t look at the judge because she knows her client is guilty
@stt5v20023 жыл бұрын
Lawyers almost always know when their client is guilty, and that is in the large majority of actual trials. Lawyers should not and rarely do feel guilty for skillfully representing a guilty client. That is their job and they are doing it for you, not for the guilty. What I mean by that is that is that you might be falsely accused one day. If that happens, your lawyer will do her or his best to defend you rather than judging you before the jury does. Skilled defense lawyers help ensure that justice is done. When the accused is zealously defended but still found guilty, we can have a high degree of confidence in that verdict. In fact, when innocent people are wrongly convicted it is almost always due to inept defense lawyers.

My daughter is the same age and I can't even fathom to imagine the excruciating trauma, pain and suffering this young woman had to endure at the hands of this monster. I respect and commend Judge Newman for the way he honestly and candidly spoke to the accused during his sentencing. When asked if he had any words, Mr. Rowland had the opportunity to come clean yet he arrogantly and pridefully tried to justify himself. The diachotomy of good vrs. evil. In the end justice prevailed. It's not over for Mr. Rowland....for the est of his living days he will be caged and will have to face evil head on and hopefully this once 'good' child will evolve into a 'good' man and ask God and Samatha's family for forgiveness. To the Josephson family, the spirit of your beautiful daughter will live on. She will never be forgotten!! ❤ Dear Heavenly Father, You have promised that you are near to the broken-hearted. I care so much for this family. What makes someone so violent against a lovely young lady? I wish we could spot it years in advance. How did he turn into this person? An overbearing mother? Spoiled? Golden child? I wish there was a way.

@@islanderbyrd1881 I think he has robbed people via kidnap in the past but likely wore a disguise. He was convicted of selling items obtained from a kidnapping/burglary. I’m not privy to his past but I’d wager racial hate & misogyny were present. Maybe/maybe not in his immediate family but definitely school, friends, etc.

Why so he can make more slaves?!! He could have given him 15-20 years 10 in prison the rest probation. And mandatory sex offenders classes. Also have him registered as a sex offender for another 10 for a total of 30 years. PRISON IS ALSO TO REDEEM REHABILITATION & REINTRODUCTION INTO SOCIETY.

@AJ ? If my son killed someone I would expect him to be punished fairly by a judge. It would be painfully hard to deal with but my kids know you choose the action and you get the consequences. That is part of life.
@donnaridings12193 жыл бұрын
@AJ ? Actually, I would be glad to have my son judged by this judge bc he seems fair, honest, measured with a level temperament and treats even people who he feels that are guilty of murder with respect. He is a good man. That is the problem with America right now. Parents are not teaching their kids right from wrong and to take responsibility for their actions. Also, murder is wrong. It makes no difference if it's my child that did it!? It still would be wrong and need to be punished! There should not be two sets of rules. There can't be because once you start making exceptions for one person than all law and order breaks down. Everyone must be treated EQUALLY
@donnaridings12193 жыл бұрын
@AJ ? What do you mean If you send someone white? Are you saying if the guy who is the murderer was white or the judge was white? It doesn't matter!!!! What in the hell does the color of EITHER of their skin have to do with it? Did you even listen to the crime? Put a blindfold on! Stop being PREJUDICE! HE STABBED HER 120 TIMES! DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY TIMES THAT IS?WHAT IN THE DAMN WORLD DOES SKIN COLOR HAVE TO DO WITH THIS? Stop playing the damn race card and hold people responsible for their actions regardless of their color! If he let him off because he was BLACK that would be RACIST! If he was White and got off that would be RACIST! THE Point is he did his job fairly without bias of skin color!! As soon as people stop your type of thinking racism will end. You are reverse racist. It's the same mentality as "BTV", or. Black History Month or BLACK LIVES MATTER! ALL RACIST! ALL MEANT TO CONTINUE TO SEGREGATE BLACK PEOPLE WITHOUT THEM KNOWING IT AND STOKE DIVISION AND ANGER BETWEEN RACES! The sooner people realize this the sooner black people will no longer be used as pawns as political tools. MLK was NOT for pitting races against each other and the idea of blacks conquering whites. He was for EQUALITY. TREATING PEOPLE WITH LOVE AND BASED ON THE CONTENT OF CHARACTER. THAT IS HOW THIS JUDGE TREATED THIS MAN! ON THE CONTENT OF HIS CHARACTER. NOTHING ELSE.
