Judge subs in alternate juror in Samantha Woll murder trial

The jury in the Samantha Woll murder trial remains deadlocked, but the composition of the jury is going to change.

Based on this report prosecutors does not have concrete evidence that the defendant was in the deceased house. Also the defendant stated that he didn't want to get in trouble with the law enforcement due to his history of car theft. His history is known for car theft not home robbery. The deceased was savagely murdered by someone they knew personally. The motive was personal and how she was murdered was a Crime Of Passion. That person had a lot of toxic emotions towards the deceased.

Why are jurors so scared to say not guilty or maybe they don’t put smart people in those chairs who have common sense, because if there was one black person in that chair, they would’ve said not guilty, or maybe broke it down for the blondes

My opinion at this point - thinking outside the jurors' box: Wow. Deadlocked. The only thing I can come up with is that there might be one or two jurors who are ignoring the judge's instructions and stereotyping the defendant based on race, assuming that if the defendant is a black or brown man, then they must be guilty. What else can it be? The evidence presented points to the ex or some other man than Jackson. Wow. R.I.P. Samantha Woll ❤️

Once the confession happened even though it was recanted and rescinded, the evidence needed to be stronger than circumstantial; direct evidence is necessary at that point. The prosecutor said in his opening statement, "I can't tell you what happened in the house and the prosecutor alluded to the jurors that they didn't "need to know" what happened, but suggested that you can imagine what happened... That opening statement alone would have made me have a reasonable doubt as a juror because you can't convict someone on imaginary evidence. In my opinion, the defendant's lawyer did a good job establishing reasonable doubt and the prosecutor's opening statement had an inverse consequence to the desired verdict.
