And I learned SOOO MUCH about makeup and skin, there's no way that 1week is enough. You could learn some Technics and a few basics but what about stage makeup, theatre, color palette, etc. There's so much,so I think for $2,500 your not getting your moneys worth, you could just watch a million YT makeup tutorials for a week and probably now more then the class....

I believe he signed the contract and owed the money, but I also believe he could have been abused. First of all, men are seldom believed when they are abused. I think if the first case had been reversed Judge Faith would have ruled different. Men buy stuff for woman all the time and than use that against them when they break up. Men also hold women hostage and force them to sign stuff to get their way. The defendant may have been a jerk but it’s also possible he was telling the truth and she manipulated it to get back at him. I just think from the very first Judge Faith already had her mind against him.

If the the professional is more of a con artist, then the plaintiff would have to prove fraud which is difficult. She would need way more witnesses and examples of the subpar makeup class work. Heck if the class is so bad, surreptitiously record a class one day as evidence. One spiteful yelp review is not sufficient because no professional has a 100% satisfaction rate, that doesn’t make every professional a fraud. I definitely agree that $2500 is an inflated price but I am not a makeup pro so my opinion is unsubstantiated. This is just a buyer beware situation.

I'm a makeup artist myself I'm certified in tigi copyright colourand unless you are certified in a particular brand do not waste your money on these classesall you need to know are the basics you need to know how to find someone's underlining skin tone you need to know the color real and know how it worksand then the rest comes with experience comes with playing with makeup understanding the difference between oil-based and water-based learning how certain products work together and I can tell you that lady way overcharged for her class but at the same time that girl has an attitude and you will not get far in this industry with an attitude like that because you have to be prompt you have to be on time you can't be late and be leaving early. I think these girls are just mad that they basically overcharged for a package they could have done themselvesnot as their own fault that they didn't do research but this lady gave them what they paid for and don't deserve their money back. they didn't do enough research not only that they would have done research they would have known that these certification classes are b******* they do nothing for your portfolio people don't give a f*** about your certifications all they care about is that portfolio.
