For all those bashing the defendant for not taking his dogs, if he had taken them but could not properly care for them, you would have been bashing him for that as well. Many depressed people cannot even take care of their own hygiene, so it’s understandable if he felt he could not care for his pets. Better to leave them than mistreat them. Cars do not require the same care as living animals.

Mistreatment and abandonment are not the only options. Placing the dogs with a rescue group or with a no-kill shelter, or directly rehoming them, can also be done. And this guy managed to get it together well enough for his TV appearance.

In New York State, you are required to register all the vehicles you own regardless of whether you drive them or not or how you bought them. As a dealer, you can do this yourself but I don't think Kramer's dad did any of that. I suspect illegal activity.

Well, that was a very unusual case. I gotta give credit to the plaintiff for saying that she was going to keep the dogs until the defendant was ready to take them back with him. Most people would have taken the dogs and sold them without the owner's consent. It just goes to show you that the plaintiff is not money hungry.

He left her a Bulldog and a CANE CORSO. Those dogs eat like horses, especially the Cane Corso. And, he still doesn't seem like he can take the dogs. After hearing this case, I feel more sympathy for the Plaintiff. Also, I understand why JJ is so irritable. The Defendant said he had the titles, but misplaced them. The Plaintiff did a better job at explaining than the Defendant. The Defendant made it seem like something shady. Plus, Judge Judy definitely seemed hangry. Not a good combo.

She helped me through depression. She would have been 16 tomorrow and had her since 7 weeks. I would give my car to exchange to have her another day. What man leaves his dogs but takes cars. And if you really stuck in a hard spot, dont leave her without communication since they are YOUR Dogs. I get angry, upset and feel so sorry for the fellas..
