I can't believe that people cannot see that he is telling the truth. I don't know the situation with the women that he may have abused but in this situation he was definitely telling the truth. He is not very intellectual and has a hard time getting his point across. The defendant took advantage of that. This case had nothing to do about him physically abusing women, it had to do with his stolen wallet. Her reasoning for stealing the wallet is because he broke up with her and told her that they had to separate. I hate when Judge Mathis starts clowning someone in the beginning because it makes them automatically lose credibility.

Her counter sue claimed that she underwent emotional distress because of him. A civil court judge's job is to determine what *more than likely* happened between the two parties, not prove it without a doubt. He ruled in favor of the defendant because 1) she had quite a lot of evidence against the plantiff for what she was claiming (emotional distress) and 2) The past charges of abuse were the nails in the coffin for the plantiff. The plantiff had almost no evidence of his claims, and it could be argued that him suing her was unneeded and was also a source of emotional distress. He didn't sue her for stealing, he sued her for abuse, which he had zero evidence of, while she had evidence of multiple situations that would've almost certainly cause her distress.

If he was such a woman beater, why did she move in with him and why did not move out after immediately finding out ... go stay in an abused womans shelter. Why didn't she call the police on him when he attacked her. She had every police report except her own. Judge completely ignored the fact that his credit card was used at the same greyhound station she purchased the tickets at.
