Dominic Diorio turned out to be a very good son. He doesn't want conflict just peace between both parents. His father should be very proud to have a such. Hopefully their bonds gets mended and father becomes much more responsible in how he conducts himself towards old wounds. Sometimes allowing your son to see his mom for what she is is the best move.

Definitely a tear jerker. The morel of this court case and story is never use a child as a pond to get back at the other parent. And never talk bad about that parent. Most children will find out on their own how their parents are and form their own opinion in most cases.

My father never let me forget that my first word was "Dad' lol. It's so easy for parents to remember all the random things we did for 20-30 years. It's our entire lives but it's a blink for them, a flash from diapers to undergrad. In that blink, it's so easy for them to forget that at a certain point they can no longer decide for us and have to just trust that we love them and can make choices for ourselves.

Don't ever come between a child and a parent. My kids were young when I divorced and no matter how much I didn't respect their father I always spoke positive about him to them. It's not their fault we didn't get along. I didn't want to take their respect for their father. Your not punishing the mother for taking the phone and laptop way, you're punishing the child because you don't like the mom.
