The plaintiff is taking her sister to court. She says the two went to a casino in Tampa, but the defendant had pneumonia and didn’t tell her. She’s suing for medical bills. The judge needs to realise that what's good for him is not good for others. some people sharing is a trigger, also being around people who share is a trigger and temptation. He needs to let people do what's best for them and stop forcing his views/values on them. They didn't go to court for those reasons.

I don't negate that it could be triggering, doesn't change the fact that it's still their responsibility (in my opinion). They absolutely should feel obligated to help. Still ruins your life and relationships with those around you. Also your mental and physical health. I really wish people would stop trying to minimize Alcoholism. She diminished her sister’s accomplishments of overcoming addicts and made it seem the line the plaintiff said she was the caregiver of her father when she never implied that. Exactly. My grandmother caught the flu. She went to the hospital for it (she was 89) and it turned into pneumonia. So if there was a flu epidemic and she went to a Casino full of people she could have gotten pneumonia from anyone. (But most likely it was her sister.)

I didn't know pneumonia was contagious . My sister had a bad case last month . Lord I and my sons were with her everyday cause she was so sick . What if it is the flu or strep throat and somebody contacts it from me like in the doctors office together . I have to pay the medical expenses for that ? Doesn't make sense to me

I remember seeing a woman in a nursing home day room who could only move her head/torso backward & forward. She smoked almost non-stop bringing her head down to pick up the cigarette with her lips, inhale, release the cigarette to the ashtray, exhale and start the process all over again, and again, and again. She would use her head to indicate that she needed a light. I was mesmerized and had so many thoughts going through my head about the power of addiction.

No you cannot catch pneumonia. You catch a virus like influenza or covid for example, which causes an upper respiratory infection. Pneumonia is a complication of influenza, however not everyone who get influenza will develop pneumonia so this is why pneumonia itself is not contagious.
