This is why some people find it easier to cheat if the other person is not around. We all been away from our partners at a certain point. But it works just a small number of people. These days it's made easy because of video calls so you can talk anytime. I was once away from my husband for 6 years back home because we were furthering our education and that kept us away from each other and when I moved to UK I left my husband for 6 months. What is needed is communication and remain connected emotionally. Once that bond breaks, that's it there's no relationship but one of you is not confident enough to tell the other person how they feel
