I’m brought to tears every time these great pastors help me interpret the Bible and remind me of exactly how relevant scripture is today.

The Lord just gave me this Word as I was praying about the current situation with the virus. God gave me an image of God preparing an army, His people the true church. God gave me chapter 7 of Judges. I saw them kneeling down to drink water and those who drank like dogs. God showed me the people in the church are going to be tested just like in Judges and divided from those who are going into the battle and those that aren't going to qualify for the battle. The time at home in isolation isn't a vacation for the church, it's for getting ready spiritually. God wants families to prepare from the smallest child to the oldest. We're all soldiers in this army if we want to be used by God. What we do during these times will determine if we enter the battlefield or we get taken out. The point God made to me was that He is gathering an army of believers who want to join with Him in this battle. He wants the church to be prepared and ready. Those that are preparing right now are going to see miracles take place when we go into that battlefield just like the army of Gedeon. We will be small but mighty in the Lord. Are we willing? That's the question...God is testing the church right now to determine that.

On October 1st 2019 I began reading the Bible and by December 2nd 2019 I was struggling so much with understanding the scripture (KJV) that I also began here in Judges 6-7 watching and listening to your videos and audios too. On March 1st 2020 I completed the Old Testament with you. On June 27th 2020 I completed the New Testament and began Genesis again. Yesterday August 16th 2020 I finishes where I started with your videos and audios having now watched and listened to all 1,042 of them. I thank God for the wonderful work he continues to do through you reaching people far and wide across the world as your subscriber numbers grow and grow. I thank you too; I feel I know you Paul, your family, your life, your marriage, your church, your love of muscle cars, you have made me laugh out loud and you have brought me greater insights to the word due to your wonderful ways of delivery; so as I began Judges 8 again today, August 17th 2020, I also thank you too Pastor Paul. Grace and Peace be with you.

The battles of the Lord must be fought while walking in faith. Get the unbelief out of here. Making it clear who will be winning the battle. God loves the long odds. He provides the confidence necessary to accomplish the goal. The Lord's power is made perfect in our weakness. The glory belongs to the Lord. Our weakness can be made into strength but only with God's help. In our weakness the power of God can rest on us...and then we become strong.

In ancient warfare there was one torch bearer for every 20 or 30 troops. So when the Midianites saw 300 torches, they figured the whole place was seething with 6000 to 9000 (plus) attackers. This was a brilliant strategy. It may even have been the same ratio with the trumpet players. Brilliant strategy.

@@janibaldonado9173 Thank you. And look on it logically, they couldn't hold a torch in one hand and a trumpet in the other, and then also fight with a sword and shield at the same time.

@@horseandcart5978 The additional knowledge you provided bolsters the pastor's message and galvanizes the Word of God... What was "the might" Gideonn was to "go in"? "Emmanuel" - "God With Us". And Gideon has zero pretense about himself, no falsehood, so he embraces truth (light), the entire account. So, when it comes time for "strategy" and "logic" it proceeds that Gideon would not take swords or shields to battle (not even empty fists)! Because he understood - he got it. "The might", the "artillery" the "fightign power" was GOD WITH HIM. So, Gideon's battle plan was falling in line with the ranks of the army the Lord sent to fight - the Hosts of Heaven! The only thing needed was lamp bearers for it was night and darkness was upon the land... and shofar (trumpet) blowers... and wherever the sound of the shofar was heard the armies gathered there. I have been blessed to recently hear a sermon at my church from Joshua 5:12-15. May the Spirit guide the reader.

I'm laughing because God is using this message to convict me about getting to the root of issues in my life. And they say God does not speak...Please. I'm heading him loud and clear. God help me to walk in obedience to your Word to keep my heart pure in your sight so that I can be used for your honour and glory in Jesus name.

🔥 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 I will boast of my weaknesses gladly so that the power of Christ may rest on me. 🔥Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty.
