Ummmmmmm are we not going to talk about the incredible lyrics of that song? This girl has walked this earth before. She doesn't say if this is an original song of hers but since she talks about writing her songs I'll infer it's hers. It is absolutely incredible writing. And my god... her voice? It's the voice of a 50yr country veteran whos' voice has gone raspy from drinking bourbon and smoking cigarettes. This girl is absolutely incredible. BRAVO!!! Update* - I've listened to this 5x and on 4 & 5 it made me cry really listening to the lyrics. My god she's brilliant.

Her voice is probably going to need some production adjustments to make sure she can be heard and understood as well as some other people would be naturally, but there’s nothing wrong with that - that’s what production is _for_ after all. And with the talent she’s got from this audition, that’d be something worth doing for her. This was really beautiful.
