Yeah but I'd prefer the power of a small block compaired to a Flathead anyday. Haven't seen too many 500hp Flatheads, be ut you can buy 700 - 800hp N/A small blocks. Stroked and blown Flatheads with aftermarket heads top out around 350hp at best on pump fuel
