Slatt adds the extra yaw spin with a nice bounce, it seems his recoveries are super smooth very sling shotty does 470's instead of 360's with a hard bank into some other loopy bit all with very cool music.

I heard about someone flying fpv and looked it up on KZbin a couple months ago and the first video that came up was rotor riot. Interestingly I’ve found that Joshua Bardwell has (since that first fpv rotor riot video that I watched) been in my feed in KZbin and I’ve watched at least a dozen of his videos from his channel. All you guys are awesome! Thank you for all the amazing informational videos. I’m learning a lot and finding that my options have narrowed considerably based on what I’ve learned from you.

All these pilots have incredible skill level, that was just plain fun to watch! I'm a big fan of Slatt's flying style and skill level, but IMO I definitely think Fenix is probably the best all-around freestyle pilot in the hobby!

The Johnny style of physics defying is all about using momentum and most importantly using the pitch and roll axis as extra throttling correction. Sometimes you use pitch and roll as your throttle, hard to explain but something you get used to.

This was cool. I’ve next to now flight experience yet, but of course I’ve an opinion about others’ flight video-because I do have some experience and study in cinema. What I want to mention in the Use of Space category-that goes with Production-in Window Washer’s video is this: if he had put the parking lot/tree run from the end at the beginning, he would have exceeded the expectations he established. You would have though it was a lesser thing that became a great thing, rather than the other way around, as presented. This is storytelling, the arc of the event strung together. Even more important when there’s this much fantastic flow elements within. I would have ended it with the fall backwards down the smaller building and skipping through the lot as a bookend. But that’s just my $0.02. Great work by all, regardless of picadillos.

Do we standardize the 1 min highlight (Botgrinder challenge edit) or 2min edit video? I also stopped the Hypersmooth, since I tend to just leave full flights videos set to longer songs. I think the hypersmooth works best with more edited videos with lots of cuts.

i'm really loving this style of videos from rotor riot but i kind wish you guys would adjust your voice audio a little better. i'm no expert or anything but it was distorting a lot when you spoke louder or yelled a little. kind of gave me a headache lol would be nicer to have a slightly softer audio style from the mics......just my two cents. you might just have to put the mic closer to your face.

Risk huh?🤔 I've found at least one area I love to fly on the Ring of Fire mountain range. It's at 1,600 ft. And loose dirt on shear cliffs on both sides of the street. I was lucky enough to only have one 'no quad left behind' senerio and it was only 30 ft. out of reach.
