54:02 why no point? It's like an Uchi mata Sukashi - counter. Yamashita attacked with Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi, but Saito anticipated it and countered same timing as Sukashi.

Because it was judged to be a slip under Yamashita. At that time, a slip was not a point. Now it would be a point for Saito.

If MMA was popular earlier. Yamashita had both natural skills and unique discipline; a master judoka amongst masters. If he channeled his will to MMA when younger, imagine what he might of accomplished. However, I am satisfied with his amazing life as the Saint of Judo.
