I think the rule changes are coming in 2025, since it’s the year that starts the new Olympic cycle.

Man that kata-garuma tomoe-nage hybrid at 3:38 is hilarious. I gotta try that.

combine it with ouchi but still push your head bettwen his shoulder and arm because when you combine it you will get reaction easy

Kind of a bummer to see fiks losing in the bronze medal match, but he once sprained my shoulder in a competition, so I can't be too sad about it😅

Proud for Ayumi Leiva. She is progressing so nice. 4 medals in 5 IJF tournaments this year (her first year as senior i think). So good she is representing my country 🇪🇦.

I would love if you can make a video on cadets. A guy that I know won it. Could you please make one?
@JudoHighlights2015Ай бұрын
Unfortunately I won’t be doing the cadets!

It's a weird feeling to be able to see actual footage from the competition in question again. Jean fought well but I'm not sure what I think about wrapping your leg around the knee like a hook and dropping your bodyweight on your opponent. The direction was also such that the knee was sideways to the potential pressure and impact, made me a bit uncomfortable watching. Big fan of Koga's style in this tournament.
@miamariahvoss905Ай бұрын
Literally none of that is true. Anyone who has ever done High level judo would know that technique does not put any pressure on the knee. And yeah - Koga’s style is amazing, we can agree on that

Is KOGA any relation to the legendary KOGA?
@r.s.819Ай бұрын
Koga Wakana is not related to Koga Toshihiko. Koga Hiyori in the 57 kg weight class (who actually did compete at this tournament but lost her second match) is Toshihiko's daughter and youngest child, and she works/trains out of Park24 along with Takato, the Abe siblings, Tajima, Horikawa, Takeoka, Sone, etc. She's the younger sister of Genki and Hayato, who compete at 60 kg and 73 kg respectively.
