Beautiful! And the attention of the audience is something to behold! That was 56 years ago, a time long gone!

Judy's overt voice seems to be accompanied by a simultaneous parallel musical quality that is quite independent of instruments. It is elusive, haunting, and magical.

Judy had such a beautiful voice and presence. The fear of voicing a Biblical reference was unknown. Respect for public performances was the expectation. And 80% of the audience weren't on prescription medications for anger and inattentivesness. 1964 must seem like a different planet to our younger generations.

Truly the voice of an angel. God, I love listening to Judy Collins. When I hear a song from her, I have to stop what I'm doing, sit down, and be glad to be alive. I saw her live circa 1962-63, and I'll never forget her music OR her big, beautiful, blue eyes!

Judy Collins Lyrics "Turn, Turn, Turn (To Everything There Is A Season)" . Words-adapted from the bible, book of ecclesiastes Music-pete seeger . To everything (turn, turn, turn) There is a season (turn, turn, turn) And a time for every purpose, under heaven . A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap A time to kill, a time to heal A time to laugh, a time to weep . To everything (turn, turn, turn) There is a season (turn, turn, turn) And a time for every purpose, under heaven . A time to build up, a time to break down A time to dance, a time to mourn A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together . To everything (turn, turn, turn) There is a season (turn, turn, turn) And a time for every purpose, under heaven . A time of love, a time of hate A time of war, a time of peace A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing . To everything (turn, turn, turn) There is a season (turn, turn, turn) And a time for every purpose, under heaven . A time to gain, a time to lose A time to rend, a time to sew A time to love, a time to hate A time for peace, I swear its not too late .
