I was born in 1963.I started reacting to music immediately apparently. Haven't stopped. I just saw this lady is still performing. That is absolutely fantastic. I did see her at the Festival with Joni Mitchell and Brandi Carlile. I admire them all so much. The amount of history teaches so much. Youngsters listen up.These stories are pure gold.🇮🇪

Listening to this made me feel sorry for the generation who give their heart and soul to acts like Taylor Swift thinking that she is the pinnacle of artistic perfection, and who would never listen to this ethereal, angelic perfection

Don’t worry. Timeless music has a way of being rediscovered and real truths can and do reach us as we are made in the likeness and image of God. Signed, a 47 year old x generation man who listened to glam metal in jr. high and by Jr year in high school it was Peter Paul and Mary, Beethoven, and Billie Joel.

Judy Collins, your voice is truly unchanged. This is a great rendition of a great song. I recently created to works of art, both of which were inspired by the last verse. I saw you in concert at Red Rocks, Colorado. The second half of the concert was Simon and Garfunkel. That was quite a concert. It had to have been around 1969.

I worked for Joe Harold, who owned a radio station. He worked for Judy Collins Father In Colorado. He told me when Judy was a tiny Girl, she would sit at the piano and he swore he could hear the angels when she sang songs. He said he knew she would become famous.

Sweet "Judy Blue-eyes". I had the chance to hear this, in the East Village, NYC, 1964. I took those memories with me, to Vietnam, after I was Drafted into the Army, 1966. That was within, just 3 weeks, after graduating from High School, up in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.

This has always been a lovely song (full credit to Bob Dylan), and this performance is over the top. Congratulations to Judy Collins. The introduction she gives is gorgeous. She sets you up for a song bound to be touching because of her history with it, teases you with the melody ("a voice coming up the steps"), finishes the historical story, and then sings the song beautifully. I agree with the earlier posters here who praise Judy Collins's voice and singing. She's still fabulous. Enjoy. Thank you, Judy Collins. Kind wishes to all.

Here's my humble take. She portrays the weariness, longing for relieve of a worn down soul. It reminds one of a farewell, someone that's looking down from above. The curtain has been opened, the vail lifted and nothing left but harsh reality except where the wander see's a different road where there's no fences facing. Judy catches the under tones very well. Yes a beautiful rendition. She is a wonderful soul.
