Judy's voice was truly amazing in the mid 50s.

You lived in times of Judy. How I envy You. But Judy is immortal, so I'm calm. In future centuries people will still love Our Judy.

Oh, you were so lucky to have lived as a teen during this part of her life. I was 8 in 1963. I used to lie on the floor watching our black and white TV totally mesmerized by her. As a girl in grade school, I'd go out to the playground singing her songs. All the other kids sang the Beatles. I loved them too, but I loved a broader range of music then most kids. I really envy that you knew of her in her early movies and TV.

Boy, Judy was one hot mama! Those dancer's legs of hers were so long and pretty. That tricky move she made quickly kicking her feet and ankles to whip up to across her knees! I've never seen that move before. Only Judy would dazzle us with an original kick like that. Someday maybe the words to this song may come true. Maybe she will come back. We'd better treat her a heck of a lot better if she does. ❤

You know that the part about President Coolidge was the part where she changed the name every time, right?

@Ed Miller I know this is really late but she would close her TV show with the second song. The part where she said "president Coolidge" isn't something that was usually said. She changed that part to whatever she wanted every time she sang it

I don't know if this is true, but, I read somewhere that Judy's dad wrote that song.

@@sunnydayzie1202 It's likely you read it in Mel Torme's book about Judy. Mel wrote that Judy told Mel her father Frank Gumm wrote it. It is possible she did tell him that, but here's who really wrote it. (By the way, they were black.) levysheetmusic.mse.jhu.edu/collection/153/120

I read that once in an interview with Judy. But then online it says it's written by someone else.
