Judy Garland performing 'Some People' live at the Judy Garland Show in 1964. I have included a whole bunch of miscellaneous clips and pics that I thought were nice. Comments are most welcome!

Beautiful, tragic woman. I hope it is some consolation for Liza just how much joy and hope and inspiration her mother brought us and even still does. Gone before I was born and she is still one of the most incredible people I look up to in her role as Dorthy and as a performer.

I've always felt Judy and Liza sang this with the right tempo: urgent and pacey. I've never understood why this number was always sung at such a SLOW pace!! Even Ethel's version just limps along (and that's the original)!

Wow, Wish she would have done the role of Ma Ma Rose on Broadway or in the movie. Oh well....We have this. Thank you.

The story goes that Judy Garland and Ann Margaret were considered to do the film of "Gypsy." Okay, we know what a disaster Judy could be, but suppose -- just suppose -- this time she behaved herself and gave it her all? Can you even imagine how great it would have been? She'd have burned a hole in the screen!
