My prayers still go out to the Shepard family. I learned about Matthew in 2011 from the Laramie Project in my Comp & Lit 2 class. Judy is truly a STRONG lady.

I like how she uses his death in order to spread goods, educate, spread peace , and make a positive impact out there. Who ever committed act of violence in the name of Christ are really fooling themselves, and are simply the face of the DEVIL. VIOLENCE AND HATE these two things don't represent Christ.

They are not liars. Mathew Shepard was killed on October 12th 1998 by two anti-gay men. They took him out of a bar and brought him to an open field where they beat him an hung him on a fence. The two men drove away and he was not found until 18 hours later. (Maybe you should get your facts straight before you tell someone they are a liar) -(it had nothing to do with drugs. Mathew never did any kind of drug use.)

I believe that the police have acknowledged drugs were a possible motive, but that they believe their was sufficient evidence that the two men also had ill feelings towards homosexuality.
