While i really wanna believe in beidou it seems you forget what meta means . Abyss is so easy to clear it's no longer a point for arguments , any character can be slotted in a team and clear abyss . Meta is the best way to do it and beidou isn't in arle's best teams. Unless theorycrafters forgot to test her .

Even in a world where physical is good I'd rather have it be separate from superconduct as it would just give more flexibility and identity to both archetypes For shatter they just need to make bosses 'soft freezable' where they're either slowed down or just considered frozen with no visible effect but can still be shattered

It's similar for me. I started like 6 month ago and got Rosaria Cons on her last banner. She is my go-to Cryo unit, decently built and I actually play Freeze quite often, whenever I have to go against Ruin Guys, who are just annoying when they move. Or even on lower floors of the Abyss. Although with the floor skipping mechanic I might not use Freeze anymore. But Freeze is a comfort reaction to me, especially since I don't play shielders that often

Rosaria is part of my Chasca team. Of course, I'm an old player who started back in 1.0, and Rosaria (C6) was one of my favorite characters back in the day. I shelved her with Sumeru but brought her out of retirement a few months back to see how she worked with Arly. I found better options, but she still remained in my mind and when I was looking to improve my Chasca team, she performed better than expected.

It's odd, I use Beidou 100% more than I ever used to. Chevreuse gave such a boost to overload teams, and she fits so well with the bevy of Pyro normal attackers. Now, it's probably never the peak team for any of them, but I'd hardly say useless.

i use pirate queen in my hyperbloom team cuz 1. she provides shield/interruption resistance 2. doesn't proc dendro cores herself 3. additional electro character for my tri karma purification (its trigger is reduced by almost 10% out of a total of 25%) 4. electro resonance which help my xingqui too ... and im gonna buy her C2 from PAIMONs menu and going to get Xq C6 from lantern rite As for rosaria, i built her pretty descent too ... i used her in heizou freeze and Gaming melt teams and if i thought of using any cryo users thats her so I love them both sm .And that is my story can't say the same for everyone here lol ...

He was never really the go to guy for any of them, but instead, the hydro who could go into a variety of other hydro teams as a lesser, but still effective, option. Which is why doesn't really fit in this video. He'd have to be remembered first to be forgotten ;) That said, he is pretty good. I know my buddy stomped one of the latter Fontaine abysses with him using him with Emilie, Baizhu, and I think Thoma, with that team clearing its side in 45s. Just demolished it. But his rep suffers because he doesn't have a meta "Ayato team".

I enjoy Rosaria with Hu tao. Her burst has 0 icd being able to freeze targets actually lets Hu tao aoe her charge attacks more consistently. And the added mobility of her E is amazing for a xingqiu. The problem being if opponents can't be frozen the value of her diminishes quite a bit. She's not providing stats. Opening up a ton of alternative options.

I still love all 3 of these units. I use Rosaria regularly with my Ganyu as a budget Shenhe. Even if/when I do get Shenhe I’ll still likely use Rosaria in a different team. I finally got Mona recently from the selector and she‘s been awesome for my Hu Tao. (I’m a returning player so I don’t have a lot of the newer units like Furina) And with Beidou I just love her playstyle. Her parry feels so cool to use.

Rosaria-Kaeya melt is actually pretty cracked for Triple Kenki. Rosaria and Kaeya's reliance on burst damage rather than an onfielder (that other teams have) allow them to cheese using invincibility frames (i-frames). Usually i don't bring out this team in the Abyss (shiny 5-stars woohoo) but if the Triple Kenki shows up, you can bet my beloved 4-stars are going to whoop his gyatt

As well as fill in for double hydro vape teams when one of them is in the other half as well as freeze ayaka pre furina . Beidou is a character I want to use, specifically with my conned up Xilonen. C2 means I can reduce Beidou's burst down to a 15s/60e burst (well, slightly less), which goes nice with the 15s duration. But I don't really have a good team where I want run to Beidou in. Big problem is the "wants two targets" bit. A single one and her burst can't ping-pong. More than two and the average damage per target drops, unlike options with more traditional AoEs. And even for two, they need to be close enough together, which ideally wants a grouper. And that's another team slot gone. Far better to just run the likes of Chiori or Yae to reach out and touch, or even Albedo. Her burst, sadly, is just a bit too lacking in general usefulness.

Cinder city beidou in arlechinno overload works quite fine. Decent defensive utility, and better AoE/cleave opertunity. Granted this might be more useful in theather and open world than the abyss.

Rosaria is on my best team right now. (Ganyu, Shenhe, Rosaria, Xilonen) Rosaria batteries the team and still does over 50k damage per tick (no melt obviously) even wielding fav Lance. Awesome 4*.

Even for Eula teams, she's not optimal anymore. Furina adds a bunch of damage for when Eula's burst isn't up, adds hydro app to reduce the weakness of the team to elemental shields, and provides a huge damage buff, but she wants a healer. Then you want an electro, which likely won't be Dori. And that means the healer slot tends to default to Mika, though you can go with Baizhu if you want to go the hyperbloom route or a non-C6 Benny if you want bigger numbers but a worse overall team.

Beidou had some hope of coming back to with ororon's buffs to her taser-cleave strength, since fischl is very single target and excels with a4 at supporting an on-field electro in aggravate teams while ororon is better than fischl in aoe situations (barely)... but fishl just generates way too much energy and beidou needs way too much energy... so beidou's still fairly locked to that fischl core.

(Even one of Mualani's bites getting the buff from Mona is big and Arlecchino starts with more bond of life at the start of the rotation so getting the early hits buffed is still massively helpful.) Mona is best in slot for Mualani. She's the only character who gives Mualani hydro resonance, a DMG buff that's more effective for nuke-style carries than sustained damage-style carries, and doesn't steal vapes from Mualani. All other meta hydro supports at best only does 2 of the trifecta. The only hydro character that comes close is Candace and that's assuming she doesn't reach C6. Mona doesn't have any such handicap.

I don’t know if “forgotten” is the right word for Beidou. Obviously she has fallen off hard, but I think if people could use her, even with somewhat flimsy excuses, they would. She’s too cool to be truly forgotten, even if she’s been benched. I use her for IR on Clorinde teams, because skill issues, and also because I don’t care about meta or the SA and she has the second best EN VA in the game (behind Furina). I’d say a character like Mika is more forgotten. I don’t really know who he is or what he does, I don’t even know what he looks like, I just heard the name once or twice as a supposedly playable character from Mondstadt. I couldn’t even tell you if I have any copies of him, I never thought to check.

Maybe if you have a very old fantastic Mona build who can burst every rotation and you want to see a high number on the first shark bite. Candace, Sucrose and even Kachina are good options who are cheap to build and buff longer. Together with Xiangling Furina's hydro application is no problem. Also there are other options like a dendro for burning or a sub dps like Chiori (with Xilonen).

Yeh, mona can also work in Father teams with yelan. She CAN* work in chasca teams. I have a few teams in mind that cpuld work but I haven’t tested yet. Mona is good with front loaded damage and the past releases have just been that. Her burst has also always been a pretty decent vape nuke. So im thinking about a Emilie, Mona, Bennett +(idk yet) But yeah. Mona feels out of place in this vid. I feel like sucrose or chonyun much better fit in 😅

I only have Mona partially built at level 70...since Inazuma. She was useful for some puzzles and that's about it. Rosaria and Beidou are still level 20. I like Beidou as a character design but otherwise meh. Genshin is my first gacha game, so seeing units fall off hard, never to be relevant again, isn't great but it's a business. (anyway, I'm still trying to get Lighter on ZZZ. My partner is basically maining him and loving it. Have you been enjoying him? Did you get his weapon yet? Beidou is not that amazing with Dendro except when you specifically do not want her to target Dendro cores in teams like Nahida, Kuki, Beidou, Xingqiu/Yelan. This team is actually very good and comfy to play because it gives you the freedom to quickswap in Beidou counter. It is particularly potent in AoE chambers while also making you almost immortal. Another really good team she is is Clorinde, Beidou, Kazuha, Nahida when it is specifically an AoE chamber. It will outperform Fischl here.

I have a spreadsheet, with the characters I consider worthy of building but I haven't built yet highlighted in green, and Beidou is the oldest character on that list. heck, the only Liyue character on that list, with no Mondstadt, and only Ayaka and Thoma for Inazuma being present. Than again, considering how OP Fontaine characters were, I fasttracked 5 of them, Mualani is done, and I have all the mats, except Mora somehow for Xilonen, so Natlan is progressing well too. I guess only Sumeru has a lot left. With 3. Being Faruzan, Tighnari, and Layla. As for the rest of the regions: Mondstadt: Diona, Sucrose, Bennett, Diluc, Eula, Jean, Venti, Fischl biult. Barbara, Rozaria, Mona, Noelle, and Razor marked as potentially might have a use if I build them. Liyue: Yelan, Ganyu, Xiangling, Kazuha, Xingqiu, Zhongli, Xianyun built, Beidou marked as worth building, Keqing, Ningguang, Gaming, Yaoyao marked as potentially might have a use if I biuld them. I might even consider putting Yanfei in that category later on, once I progress with the ones I actually consider good enough. Inazuma: Kokomi, Sara, Shinobu, Raiden, Yae Miko built, Ayaka and Thoma worth building, Kirara is a maybe. Sumeru: Nahida, Wanderer, Dehya biult, Faruzan, Tighnari, Layla probably worth it, Collei/Sethos possibly as well. Fontaine: Neuvillett, Navia, Furina, Clorinde, Chevreuse built. Charlotte is a maybe. Natlan: Mualani built, Xilonen: I ran out of the 40 mill+ mora I started this character building spree with by the time she came out and I got to her. Mavuika is next, once Xilonen goes to 8/10/9 which are the talent levels I estimated to be a good enough build for her. kachina and Ororon are both marked as maybe. For all the characters I didn't mention: Qiqi and the rest of the 4 stars are all marked either as very niche, or not worth building The rest of the 5 stars are marked as characters I don't have.

You seem to have put Kazuha to Liyue probably by accident but he is from Inazuma.

@9Misaki3 he uses the liyue talent books, hence why I have him in the liyue bunch. After all, he was released 1 patch before Inazuma.

@@Wortigon2000 Okay, it's just that all of his other materials are from Inazuma so to me it still seems little strange to put him in Liyue when you can't get rest of the materials until you reach Inazuma.
