A question not asked, If the Browns could have run the ball better in Denver. This could have eliminated one of the interceptions. The less dependent on throwing every play the less the possibility of a turn over, With all the good thing Winston did you may have won that game even with one turn over.

You're probably correct. A better running game takes the pressure off of the QB from having to throw 50+ times, which inevitably leads to more interceptions. Sadly, Chubb is now crocked and can no longer be relied on to carry the ball 20 times or so for 100+ yards. If he's retained, Chubb will likely be better next season but his 5+ yards per carry days are probably gone. So, with no standouts in the RB room, the Browns will very likely use a day 2 pick on a new RB.

Petey, your take on Winston makes me feel like you don't remember who Jameis is as a QB. This is the man who threw for 5000 yards but had a 30-30 season. I'm a Browns fan, and I think Winston is actually fun to watch at QB. Im not saying that im not frustrated with him throwing picks, but he at least is willing to sling the rock, which Deshaun wasn't. The Qb situation is not going to be good no matter what come offseason, but even if Winston has a rough end to year, bring him back on another 1 yeat deal and have him start as Qb1 in practice. After Sanders and Ward, yes, the starting prospects aren't great, but it's still worth drafting a guy like Millroe or Ewers in the 2nd round.

If we dont bring back Winston, our options for QB at least in free agency are: Sam Darnold Russell Wilson(Steelers are probably gonna re-sign him) Justin Fields Gardner Minshew(Raiders are probably gonna cut him) Daniel Jones Trey Lance If it comes to trades, some options/ideas are: Will Levis (If they sign a Darnold or draft a QB, he also has been olaying better) These are farfetched and pricey: Brock Purdy(if the 49ers dont want to pay him) Trevor Lawence(Jags are staring down a 3rd 1st round pick in 5 years, but he just got paid, and thays a lot of money for Lawrence and Watson if you cant move him in the trade.)

Browns will certainly have a different qb next year. Cousins, Rodgers, Darnold. Some sort of vet and maybe a rookie qb they took in round 3. The entire room is getting turned over. The dream is Milroe or Allar as a developmental prospect. I believe KS could develop them and they have elite traits. No clue if they will be good, but nobody else is worth consideration and 25 class is unknown nor do they have a shot at the top pick in the draft. if they do KS is fired.
