Dr.Jui, I have one question which may sound dumb to you but nevertheless I want you to give an honest response. How safe is Radiology as a department considering you are always in the midst of radiations always. Is it unsafe really? Maybe hearing it from Dr. Makes more sense. As a commoner, one gets to hear some horrific information about Radiologists risking their lives for money and a perfect work life balance? Is that all true or just a scare mongary.

Usg has absolutely no radiation .... its just sound echo , mri is magnetic resonance so safe.... and radiologists dont stand in a CT room and xray room .... they only report on scans taken by technicians in the other room .... so minimal risk Interventional radiology which is further super speciality does pose a risk in repeated exposure to radiation but so does urology and orthopaedics......
