Hope yall didn't really pay 1000 for that scale used. Haven't seen them go for over 500 in a year or two (for second hand at least). Also anything sold as medical will have an inflated price, even if the build isn't any different from a non-medical version. If you really need an accurate scale for personal/play use its generally more advisable to go with a cheaper non-medical scale that still has the option for calibration. Then pick up a calibration weight with the scale. Which brings up a video idea. (It would be expensive as hell though). Fill out a dumbell rack with grip handle certified or traceable calibration weights. That way you have the accuracy paperwork for the entire set of weights and no one could ever say they are light weights again!

you guys should build an outdoor chess board composed of pieces that have to be deadlifted in order to be moved because they weigh: 200lbs pawns, 350lbs bishops and knights, 500lbs Rooks, and 800 lbs Queen(rename the Queen to 'Champion') and King, the pieces would need some nice handles for grip(some big kettle bells). If you can't lift it and move it, then it just stays where it is or goes to a nearer location than intended(as far as you can move it in a limited time frame), and that might cost you the game. When attacking an opponents piece, the attacker has to physically lift the enemy piece out of the chess board, if he can't do it then either it stays where it is or stays where the attacker left it. only one piece can occupy a square, so if a piece falls into another pieces square due to fatigue, someone will have help move the dropped piece to an adjacent unoccupied square. This might work great with atlas stones. Tweak weight of pieces to hearts content. Strongman Chess.
@gokublack56204 жыл бұрын
800 pounds is way too much dude
@gokublack56204 жыл бұрын
500 is probably too much as well
@450aday4 жыл бұрын
@@gokublack5620 yeah maybe, those numbers come from the traditional point count given to the pieces. 1, 3, 3.5, 5 and 8. In my mind, in strongman chess if you can't move the piece, you just don't use it, and change your strategy. So the Champion and Rooks would be special pieces that only the strongest could even use. it's all just food for thought.
@gokublack56204 жыл бұрын
@@450aday oh I see what you mean. I tbh dont really know anything about chess, I was just adding my thoughts. But yeah, who about to deadlift 800 for those types of reps. Any ways, thats still a fun idea you came up with. Have a great night

The Jenga needs to be more like speed chess. The moment one person makes their move and drops their pinch block, the other has to pick theirs up. That way it rewards quick movements and keeps the game fast paced. The longer you plan or take to execute your move, the tougher it is on your grip. Also that way the faster you execute your play, the less time the opponent has to plan their next move before having to pick up their implement. If you drop the block without completing a move, you lose. If you don't immediately pick up your implement the moment the other drops theirs, you lose
