It's funny how Gojo walking over the trail of ants without crushing them was his way of telling the principles that he could kill them easily, but he's choosing not to.

You're partially right. Gojo was telling that specifically to Gakuganji. He wouldn't threaten Yaga, there is a very solid trust between them. You can count on one hand the number of people who care about Gojo as a person, and not just because he's "the strongest", but Yaga is certainly one of them.

@@gigigvintsadze7382 He doesn’t trust the old man at all. He even said to Ijichi that he would kill all the higherups if it changed the hierarchy. But as they would just get replaced by geezers of the same mindset it doesn’t do anything so he has to live with them for the time being.

@@RedCnMn I'll try to explain that thing without the manga spoilers and only talk about things that happened before the ending of season 2. Basically Yaga isn't part of the "higher-ups" that Gojo has problems with. The people he's talking about with Ichiji are the guys behind paper walls that we see at the end of the season two with Yuta and couple of other times before that (+heads of the other two great clans). They are the ones who make all the decisions in Jujutsu society, including killing Itadori, which is why Gojo was complaining about them to Ichiji in that dialogue. Yaga actually approved of accepting Yuji to Jujutsu high and keeping him alive. There are also other, more obvious details that support what I said. Yaga cares and feels responsible for his students, something that was even shown in this episode when he lamented about how Geto turned out. He was a part of what were three happiest years in Gojo's life (when he was in highschool), and Gege himself said that Yaga is one of the few people who actually understand Gojo on a personal level. But my favourite detail is Gojo turning off the infinity to let Yaga put him in a submission hold. Adult Gojo's infinity is on 24/7 by default, so he has to make a conscious effort to let other people touch him. I think that both literal and metaphorical meanings are clear here.

That too, but given Gakuganji's statement about not threatening the group for the one, I always saw it as Gojo saying the group will be fine even then.

So the common belief as to why Gojo rigged the competition to be a baseball game instead of individual battles is that after all the chaos with Hinami and the others Gojo felt the students deserved a chance to get to be normal teenagers for a few hours.

19:30 The joke doesn't translate well but best I can tell he was in the original making a pun. Bread in Japanese is "Pan" so when they asked him which he prefers he basically made a pun that "I prefer Bread (Pan) Duh!" then got upset that he is forced to make jokes based on being a Panda solely.

No, Todo doesn’t bully anyone, he just beats you half to death if you don’t agree with his taste in women. I love Todo, but I think it’s somewhat understandable that everyone (except his brother itadori) hates him.

Immortality typically comes in 2 forms. Eirher someone can't die due to damage, but will still die from old age, or they can't die from old age and can theoretically live forever, but they can still die from damage. So in the case, the person they're talking about will probably still die from old age.

No! He lives super super long, so he *can* die to damage. He lives for so long that he will ascend to a new life form, which is the purpose of the star plasma vessel. So if they killed him with a punch, he’d die. But the veils are so powerful that they can’t even catch a glimpse of him. Edit: I think he lives 500 years until needing a star plasma vessel.

The villains stealing Sukuna's fingers is definitely a *massive* problem and will have consequences later on, but the show is kind of lulling us into a false sense of security by dropping that info in an episode like this, which is an interesting choice. They definitely present it as a problem, but with everything else in the episode, you kind of aren't worried about it as much.

In Maki's defense for the baseball game, she could've hit it harder but thought there would be no point because it would go straight out of the park as she didn't expect Momo to be cheating. Her and Yuji are pretty equal in terms of physical strength

The " nice pitch" scene is funnier with the Japanese audio, in my opinion. I know you guys watch the English for specific and good reason, but i think it'd be worth just watching that scene in Japanese. Its the voice inflection i think makes it funnier

@@theonlykoh4631 It's not that Fushiguro won't use his full ability it's that he doesn't even consider that he can use them. The bunt is more to show his personality. Instead of going for anything flashy he goes for the safe play that's better for the team at the cost of himself.

Curious what order you are going watch after season 1, techinally the order that was given in manga and anime is: Season 1, Movie, Season 2. HOWEVER, the ones I watched with and the order I would recommend is: Season 1, Season 2 episode 1-5, then Movie, then contiune the season 2.

jjk has a game called phantom parade where gojo goes and prepares for the exchange event it’s really cute and made me fall in love with him all over again. it’s not a spoiler it’s a canon event not included in the manga/anime proper since the author time skips like crazy :( there’s a fan translation here on youtube if you’re interested in watching in your free time :)
