Jujutsu Kaisen Is Actually Good

If you're sceptical about Jujutsu Kaisen, I challenge you to watch it and see for yourself. It's actually good with great writing, animation and music - and it's actually fun!
While season 1 felt a little generic IMO, season 2 blows it out of the water. Almost every character becomes more complex and has added depth. they actually make you care about the characters. Season 2 of JJK is just peak. I encourage you to give it a try - you won't be disappointed!

I thought he was boring as hell too and funnily enough he was originally written to be the main character of JJK before the author decided to completely change everything up and switch the narrative focus over to Yuji instead, thank god

1:40 Although that's true but it's not the whole reason for not killing Geto there. Fake Geto explained it to Disaster Cursed Spirits that Gojo fights best when he is alone due to nature of his powers. That's why Geto decided to meet them in a public place packed with lots of people because Jujutsu Sorcerers aren't allowed to harm non-sorcerers in any shape or form.

​@@BadTakeRisan Although the Jujutsu guidelines do state that sorcerers should avoid harming people, that isn't what prevented Gojo from harming Geto at all. Gojo already stated earlier on that he didn't believe it in the sorcerers duty to take care of the weak (that is what they were having an argument about in the basketball scene). Considering the threat level that Geto posed, I think they would have just taken civilians deaths as unintended casualties. That's why later Yaga is surprised that Gojo didn't try and pursue Geto after finding him. He strikes the hollow purple pose and he has a clear line of sight to Geto, but Geto knows that Gojo is unwilling to follow through with the attack. So he turns his back leaving himself open and walks away.

@@ami4511 You don't understand shit, monkey. It doesn't matter what Gojo think about Jujutsu Laws but he has to adhere to it until and unless he is ready to do the needful. In Hidden Inventory arc the cult leader explained it to Toji that TVA exist because of that said law. After Shibuya Jujutsu Headquarter used same law to target Gojo, Geto and Yaga for Jujutsu Terrorism against non-sorcerers. They're okay with casualties done by curses not sorcerers, as we saw Naobito having no problem from Transmutated beings killing non-sorcerers. Jujutsu Sorcerers have no real connection to the normal world whatever happens happens, they're not police or military. And also why Jujutsu Sorcerers are forced to take care of all Cursed Users within Japan or outside. There is a reason Gege gave us this information in Shibuya, if you forgot Geto met Shoko & Gojo at Shibuya station.

The only downside of this season is when they decided to finish every episodes. They're so rough that look like mappa animated the entire shibuya arc and randomly cut it every 20 minites. Sometimes they arent engaging enough for me to watch the episodes

@@BadTakeRisanyeah his will to fight and want to change and how shocked he was at the jujutsu world how it was all new to him and how he interacts with the cast and his relation with gojo and how it will obviously develop and yuta is probally one of the best characters in the movie how he develops and how he is still scared but wants to protect people and relize what he can do makes him want to do his best and try harder his will not to give up and want to try harder and harder makes him such a great character maybe you just don’t see that but he really is a good character what I like about him is his back story and how he’s not the most confident sorcerer and how he is going to try and get stronger because of his friends and his character designs is kool and his curse thing with Rika and we understand how curses can develop like that too yuta bring a nice breathe to jjk

Fair. I still think the first season was pretty generic but after s2 , it becomes way better. All that context in Hidden Inventory did wonders for the story in S1. It’s definitely retroactively better.

​@@BadTakeRisan Alright... Let's start with the main character... or... characters apparently. Its a fight to see who the main character even is because Yuji has no effect on the story whatsoever, the only times he does things to the plot is when he's being taken over by sukuna, which shows gege akutami has no idea what he's doing with him. Megumi is promising but everything about him is executed terribly. I can't speak of nobara cause i'm not sure if you like spoilers, but she is also promising, but bad. And now... Gojo, oh god, he's the worst character. He's literally a machine for the plot, and it clearly shows that the author made a huge mistake with him because he had to off screen him for 100 chapters or so, just so the story could move forward. Moving on to the next point, side characters. Yuta is a good character, his story is generic, but he had a movie dedicated to him so it's understandable how he feels complete and whole, but aside from him, side characters have no story behind them except maybe Nanamin, Maki and Toji. Villains. Geto is definitely a good character, i don't see much wrong with him except for the fact the execution for his story was also weird. It all just happened way too fast, and many moments seemed rushed and badly made. Story and pacing. The story is alright. It started the theme of modern shonen i think, and the power system is fairly well done (Hunter x Hunter's nen slams not only cursed energy, but every other power system in every single way possible though), the locations for the battles are good, the battles themselves are good and entertaining, and the arcs all have potential. But all this is unfortunately destroyed by the worst thing in all of jjk, the pacing. It's all terribly timed. It's always rushed, the explanations for everything are terrible and bad to follow, there are way too many characters involved all for the sake of battles, and for some goddamn reason, all this is completely overlooked by gojo, who is an absolute buffoon. The best arc in jjk is the shibuya arc because it has fairly okay pacing, it has the best fights in the series, and... Yuji actually feels like a main character. Again, i'm not going to spoil, but his character as a whole shines for the first time, he actually has to do something important, his battles are insane, and he learns things, something a main character needs to do lol. Extra point: Wtf were Yuta and Yuki doing, like, shouldn't they have been told to come to Japan since the sorcerers knew what was going to happen? It clearly shows gege is a terrible writer because he shows the reader he couldn't think of anything else besides off screening the strong people, just so the weak ones could do anything. I like jjk for its entertainment and good looking characters (Overlook this please, ahem.) but not it's story. Let's just say for fans it's good, and i get the hype, sure. But as a critique, it's just really bad, like most shonen manga.
