Whoever that does the subtitles for this website is doing an atrociously horrible job at it and I can almost guarantee they are a gen z kid. Wow everything about it just scream “fan head canon”, to translate Japanese to English you need to understand the context behind it’s meaning, direct translation using a software isn’t just going to work and this is literally western ignorance at best. This is why it’s a good thing that AI is replacing western localizers and translators/subbbers; especially when you consider that a majority of them do it to push their personal agenda, by virtue of DEI hires.
