very good video ngl, i agree with pretty much all of the points here, though there are a few responses to the certain points mentioned in the video that i have: - the ring 2 champion sign is actually a bit outdated even though i recently updated it, as the champions are now referred to as guardians, and 3/4 of them (i haven't finalized the amount of guardians there will be) will be found throughout world 1's subrealms and will need to be defeated to access the final obelisk - soul crushing towers will never actually be required to progress - the final obelisk may actually only be a high intense difficulty or low remorseless, and it may not exactly have 2 permanent checkpoints, though checkpoints definitely look like a good idea even if they may be ruining the original point of the game, as who the hell would want to beat 30 floors in one sitting only to possibly die to the final boss lol

Ok so I'm gonna say this now, juke has confirmed many times that's SC's won't ever be required for progression and also there will be 3 or 4 guardians and when gamma says checkpoints he means like PERMANENT checkpoints. Basically if you leave you get to return to them.

The obelisk won't have just safety nets, but permanent _checkpoints_ , checkpoints are where you respawn. They also said they don't want you to do it in one sitting, which means if there are just safety nets and not spawn places, you will have to do it in one sitting.
