Juki DU-1181N knee lift adjustment and foot height

Hello! So my machine foot is only lifting 1/8 of an inch while I'm sewing. Will this adjustment fix that? I'd like it to lift about a quarter of an inch between stitches.

This worked, thank you! I have another question :) I have that same foot with the black wire coming out and down. Can I just snip those wires off? They bothers me.

The safety guard will just pull out of the holes just remove the foot grab the guard with pliers and remove from holes it’s perfectly fine to remove they are annoying

not sure if you read comments over a year old but will give it a try. I have a du1181n been having it for a couple weeks .. I'm just now seeing this and was wondering about what you said about the pressure foot. You said something about it not really mattering whether the foot is down or up while you're not using it? I have a tl 2010q and I was always told to keep the foot up or your feed dogs will mess up.

While using the presser foot lifter on the top of my machine the other day the foot dropped and will no longer work unless I use the knee lift. Please help!

I have this machine and I was messing with the tension because I started sewing with slightly a thinner material. Not too thing but, now it is making this loops on the bottom thread every five stitches or so. Do you know what botton I need to adjust?

Loops every once in a while is hard to diagnose. I would check to make sure the thread is in between the tension discs all the way. Sometimes when we thread the machine with the presser foot in the down position, we do not get it (the thread) all the way into the discs, which can cause an inconsistent stitches.
