Wow, I didn't know that little black arm thingy could be moved up. Knowing this now will make my life so much easier. I have only had my Juki a few weeks and have so much to learn. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much Lauren for this video. I purchased a Juki 1541 about 6 weeks ago and have not had to change the needle yet so this video shows me exactly what to do. I’d like to see a video on changing feet on a walking foot machine. I want to purchase other types but don’t want to until I see how difficult it is to change them out. I’m very versed on domestic machines but this is my first industrial. Thanks for all your great videos. You have really inspired me in bag making.

I can definitely do that.

Hi Lauren, I purchased the Juki DU1181n and my needle has broken. I see where you get your size 19 needles from Wawak. I just pulled up their website and there is many options when you do a search for size 19 needles. Do you mind explaining the difference with the needles available and which ones I need to order ?? Thank you ! You're the Best !!!

I believe you’ll want 135x17 size 19!

I replaced my needle exactly as your video showed...however, once I put my bobbin in place the needle doesn't go all the way down. Something stops it. Any suggestions?
@LaurenMormino3 жыл бұрын
Try putting a new one in and reinserting the bobbin. It could be something just not quite right

I wonder if this size needle can be used in my Juki TL2200QVP Mini with #69 nylon thread?

Shaz Lahey mine arrives tomorrow!! I tried for a few years with different techniques to make my juki ddl 5550 work on leather with no luck! Took me to find these videos to make my mind and get a walking foot one!🙌🏼🙌🏼 Happy sewing!

@@madelinepena5091 So excited, my first ever industrial machine
@madelinepena50915 жыл бұрын
Shaz Lahey you are going to love it! I had to sell mine to make room for this one and I’m sad. Even though it didn’t sew leather it did sew beautifully. You’ll see how different it is an industrial machine from a regular home sewing one.

Shaz Lahey out of curiosity. Did your machine came in complete? I just got mine and it came without the table!😭😭😭 I’m so upset right now. Just wondering if yours came through ok. I got mine just as Lauren from amazon. Wrote the seller asking what happened as in the product info it states the machine comes with the table and the servo motor. One good thing is it came in a box and it looks it is well preserved. Not sure how the table is going to arrive if it arrives.

@@madelinepena5091 Hi Madeline, I bought mine from the dealer here in Australia, they delivered it on site, set it up and gave me some instructions. The table came with the machine, but the company have their tables made in Melbourne because they don't like the Chinese tables at all. So sorry about your machine, you certainly have to have the table for the machine, keep complaining or ask for a refund.

Hello 👋, what needle size should I use for lace fabric?
@LaurenMormino2 жыл бұрын
On this machine?? It’s not really possible. On any machine? I’m not sure. Something small. Maybe a mixrotex needle

So does the safety thingy stay down all the time when your sewing?? Hopefully not a dumb question.

It does! Not a dumb question :)

Helpppp! I have a juki 1181n I got a couple months ago and have a love hate relationship with it. I love it most days but I’m having issues with looping on the underside of the fabric when I’m sewing, but only sometimes. I spend time playing with the tension on a fabric similar to the bag I’ll make, get it perfect but then when I go to sew the actual bag, the looping comes back. Any suggestions?
@LaurenMormino2 жыл бұрын
It could be bobbin tension as well!

Hi Lauren Great videos btw. I’ve been looking at this machine to buy as I’m a Upholsterer in the UK. Is it possible to show how it copes with thin to thick fabrics? As I’ve been told that it’s not good at all on the thin stuff. I really am stuck between the 1181 N or the DDL 8700. Please help? Oh I won’t be doing leather on it btw. Keep up the good work 👍
@LaurenMormino5 жыл бұрын
It doesn’t do well with thin fabrics at all. I hope to have a comparison video up within the month!
