You should be sorry because after seeing the premier of this MV, my eyes were REALLY itchy. I promised myself never to be in that situation again with this, but what do you you know!!!! After watching your reaction, I´m at that same place...... Very Itchy Eye´s. Lol... Very cool reaction. Kanami wrote this song in 2019, it's off the Conqueror album, for this very specific occasion. A closing Arena song.... and the 5 ladies know this. Go back and watch the MV again..... All of them are struggling to hold it together at some point. I don't think many would argue with me that THIS concert is Saiki in her prime.

Hey Jules, this was the final show of their 10th Anniversary Tour. It was an over three hour show that featured 33 songs. Endless story is there finishing song at many concerts. However, this version was special as it had additional lyrics written for after Saiki's mid song MC where she thanked the fans from the Band. I was lucky enough to make a show on their 10th anniversary tour in Nashville in 2023 (and previous in 2022 at Silver Springs, MD.) and they closed that show with Endless Story (the standard song). It is such a beautiful song in any version. When you goto one of their concerts, you leave feeling happy and unlifted by their performance. You can tell that they love performing and are thankful to each and everyone of their fans. The only negative emotion felt is a little while after the concert you just can't help but think "I can't believe its over." followed by "When can I see them again".

This has to be one of the few times Akane wasn’t her usual smiling happy self, she seemed on the verge of tears the entire time, and yet she played on, such a trooper. Love them all, thank you so much for this.

This was the last song of their 33-song setlist and 3 hours and 40 minutes show!😉 Everyone, not only Maids but also the crowd (including me) were in tears😭

I think what’s so different about Saiki’s performance here is her facial expressions - really genuine and heartfelt, really something different in a wonderful way. Never seen her this expressive before - amazing!

Great reaction Jules. Emotional ending to a great show from one of the best bands on the planet. They have a great connection with their fans. impossible to watch that performance without feeling emotions. Great musicians and I can't help but say something about Misa. Lot of great bass players out there but she has a way of not only suppling the bass line but adding so much more. You can't take your eyes off the bare foot assassin. For me one of the most amazing bass players I have seen.

Agreed. Saiki went Super Nova. I read where they had to put her name on the front of the building because she owned it that night.

It's a special gift to allow yourself to be vulnerable in public. There's a connection that is made through vulnerability that can't be replicated in any other way. Before this video, there was a fan can compilation video of this song that came out of the 2022 Tour of the US. Included in that was footage of Akane in Chicago playing her drums, singing her heart out, with tears of joy streaming down her face. It is one of the most touching gifts a musician has ever given to her fans. I cry with her every single time. And that's what you've given us here. When you're open to being vulnerable on camera, we all feel what you feel. It was a special gift to us. Thank you.

The whole concert was great. But this final song was -- as Miku likes to say -- "heart to heart". All the band members were misty eyed, and Akane was trying hard not to cry during the whole song. They love serving up great music.

Major bonus points for calling the confetti! 🎊 Dude. Yours is about the tenth reaction to this song I’ve seen. And I cry every time. Yes, Saiki had some special magic this night. She had to have prepared both physically and mentally because her voice was exceptionally strong, emotional, and pitch perfect

I don't think Misa can play a basic bass line in a song. haha. It's lead guitar throughout most songs. And we thank the Gods for that. If there's one woman on the planet that I would love to sit down & have a beer with, it's Misa. Because of who she is, what she is, & what she can do.

Last song, Po! This MV (33 of 33 from the show) is 4 of 4 MV teaser before the Bluray/DVD release on Mar. 27, 2024. Was there (with about 10K others) and it was electromagnetic, Po! And, yes, this song is an anthem (love song) for us from Band Maid, Po! Btw, Saiki added a new last verse especially for this show. Every time 😭, Po!

Saiki has probably grown the most in the last few years. Of course, the support of the other members may have helped, but saiki's appearance shows that she herself worked just as hard as Miku as the band's frontwoman. I would like to say to saiki that she has really worked hard.

Thanks for the honest and open reaction. Very cool that you got to experience something like this feeling as a performer. Yeah, _endless_ _story_ is about as great a concert finisher as you could possibly hope for (finished me off, for sure). They've played it as a closer for many concerts, and one of those recently was 2023 Lollapalooza in Chicago. There was an incredible cross-section of humanity in the audience, probably most of whom had not seen B-M before. Of course they rocked out to Dice, Hate, and No God (etc.) as expected; but you could see that they also felt all the emotion endless story.

Emotional, but the real tears were during the song immediately prior, "Forward". On their very first release and about overcoming life's difficulties. They showed videos of their very early days when they would perform in front of only a dozen or two in the audience. Miku could barely hold it together. Tears replaced by the joy of this song.
I hope you realize this is why I was so sad when you stopped doing reactions for awhile. You're legit smart about music but also generally, so you know how to convey your thoughts and feelings eloquently. You talk about the power of music, but there's also the power of words, and being able to articulate beyond "Ooo wow" is something lacking in the reacter space. You're not JUST a reaction guy, but you are very, very good at being a reaction guy. Thank you for coming back.
@JulesTheHuman9 ай бұрын
Thank you for continuing to watch! I definitely don't like to watch the "oh wow" reactions myself, so I always try to give other things to it if I can find the words. Creating content for so long has definitely helped me find words for feelings and allow me to be vulnerable on cam. I totally understand what you mean and will continue because I do love music so much ❤️

I like your reaction, it´s obviously sincere. But this is the fifth BM song I try on and it does not fit. This song is a shred fest Jazz on steroids'. And I don´t like jazz. I am in TWA and a die hard The Warning fan, and I still am. I can se qualities in BM but I don´t feel like you do. I really tried but it did not work. For some reason I think of the ESC when I hear this. I am waiting for the hook that makes me get down and get with it. But as I said before, great reaction!

Oh man… I am so glad I don’t have a problem connecting with their music. They have become so meaningful to me, reviving my love of music in a major way… along with The Warning, as well. What I like about these 2 bands is they give me very different thoughts and feelings in reaction to their music, and performances. Together they cover a wide array of music in the rock genre. Band Maid pushes the bounds of the genre, bleeding over into a lot of styles. The Warning gave me an incredible concept album and, as good as their new material is, I’m hoping for another one someday. The sisters certainly don’t lack in the storytelling department!
