We had a beautiful night out, Amy. I loved the energy and my body held up pretty well. Dave splurged and got us seats so I didn't have to stand. Do you ever think the energy of a situation plays a roll in how you feel? I'm not sure why I had less pain that night but I did. I had to recover the next day but I was gifted with a nice night. It wore beautiful all night and comfortable. That's hard to find with a longwear lipstick. I didn't eat though. I had a glass of wine, talked a lot and sang but other than that I didn't test it fully with a meal.

YAY, here’s Julie! Miss you popping in every week. You look amazingly adorable Julie. Hope you and Hubby enjoyed the Concert with no rain! Always learn and enjoy your GRWM. That’s what I need to purchase is Mousse for my very long, very Flat, straight hair. I am trying to use up my extra large bottle of Moroccan Oil Hydrating Shamppo and Conditioner. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling like dead straw, so very disappointed in it for paying $80.00, thank goodness the conditioner softens it. But when washing( I always wash my hair twice) so so much of my hair falls out during washing with this shampoo. Your hair looks gorgeous. Hope you had a pain free eve at the concert. Oh no, I haven't tried their shampoo. I've finished a litre of Amika shampoo and conditioner. I liked it but I'm back onto Pureology Hydrate Shampoo. My hair loves that one. I noticed they have one for medium and fine. My bottle doesn't specify what one it is. I assume mine is for medium. I've started brushing my hair thoroughly before I step into the shower. It has made a big difference. You may already do this. I wear my hair up when it's hot, which means the natural shedding of my hair sits in my ponytail or bun. So when I would wash my hair it looked like I was losing a ton of hair but I realized it was hair I would typically find on my sweater. Are you finding your hair is thining or do you think it could be natural shedding? A better question, do you think it's breaking or coming out from the root? We had so much fun at the concert, Karla. Dave bought us VIP tickets so we could sit. He invited our real estate agent and his fiance. I hadn't met her before and she was so easy to talk to. The next day, I was sore, but the pain wasn't too bad during the concert which was a miracle. I think good music and great company were a healing distraction. I need to do more of it.

Anyway, I fully expected I'd hurt but I didn't feel too bad. I did the next day but I was given the gift of a peaceful night. I've got wavy hair; same length and colour as you (I'm a 'ginger' with lots of highlights currently). After shampooing it twice, I use lots of conditioner, curl cream and gel to seal the deal😅. But it always ends up different. I love a nice blowout, but I'm too clumsy to do that myself. I need an extra pair of hands to do that 🤭

I love this look Julie. Gorgeous, hope you had a great time. With total love……. Just be careful putting eye drops in products as the chemicals in the drops constricts blood vessels hence the results you get in your eyes. It may not be a safe solution for those that are more sensitive or have other eye conditions. Also eye drops expire after 4 weeks so you’re dramatically affecting the life of your beautiful products & you could contaminate the eye drop dropper itself which you then put back in your eye. You can get a 15 ml syringe of saline water for free at your local pharmacy that will last ages as long as you don’t contaminate the tip. Or use a tiny drop of makeup oil. This is far safe for viewers & yourself to hydrate & dilute products. Xx xxx

Thank you! That's a great point. I should have mentioned the drops were specifically for people with dry sensitive eyes. The only purpose is to hydrate, not to make them look white like Lumify does. I didn't know we could get saline water. That's a great idea. I was looking for a product I own from Inglot. It's made specifically to do this to products but I couldn't find it. Do you know which one I'm talking about?

Julie, you are beautiful inside and out. I hope you had an amazing time. I don’t self tan my face, just my body, and I use bronzer on my face. I like the Fenty Body Sauce - but have to let it fully dry/set before getting dressed or it will transfer to clothes. How did the Maybelline product do for not transferring? (because it looked great!)

Hi Melinda! I'll have to try the Fenty Body Sauce. I didn't have an issue with transfer. I think it's because it's not thick and emollient. It sank right in.

Both brands are beautiful. The Shiseido brush was sent to me along with the Revitalessence Foundation which has a thin consistency like the Maybelline 4-in-1 perfecter glow. If I chose a foundation with a thicker consistency I would use a brush with more density. The Hourglass brushes look to me like they are more dense. What foundation do you typically like to use?

@@JulieMeikle tbh I prefer a sheer to light coverage foundation I will go medium but I like to sheer those out as much as possible. I’ve got so many right now that it’ll take me 5 years to use up🤣❤️ as I said in another comment the Jones Road WTFoundation I’m really enjoying right now, but I’ve got Nars Light Reflecting, Shiseido Radiant Lifting foundation, Lisa Eldridge’s skin tint, Tom Ford’s stick foundation (I like a good stick foundation), MAC and Dior Backstage Face and Body (I love both brands of face and body… Dior has a little more coverage) and so on and so on😎 So I think the brushes would work with any of those don’t you think?? (Well, except I use my fingers on the Face and Body foundations) Thank you for your input on the brushes… it helps in deciding whether to get or not❤️❤️ I thought your comment about if your hair isn’t curling it is most likely because it’s lost it’s elasticity and needs a trim was so informative❤ (my hair isn’t doing that) I never knew that about hair!! So basically your own hair will lyk when you need to go to the salon😂❤

Hi Michele! Thank you for subscribing. 🤗 I have no idea what season I am. My girlfriend has been studying and she thinks I'm a bright spring. I have level 7 natural ginger/golden hair and fair skin naturally. I'm considered neutral when I'm fair and self-tanned. What foundation do you use and what colour? That will help me know if we have similar tones. I hope we do.

@@JulieMeikle Thanks so much for replying! I have pale skin, golden undertones, blue eyes, freckles, red hair (naturally, but not the brightest ginger). I'm not sure if I'm a neutral or a warm in foundations as I live in Ireland and classifying that way is not something I have been used to. I have some red in my skin. I look best when I add some warmth - bronzer or peachy pinks, look awful in blue pinks or reds. I wear a lot of greens and blues, plums warm navy and all the aquas/teals. I can't get a lot of the makeup you use easily, but I can get some of it here. Thanks for helping me

Hmm, I'm not unsure of myself, but I do embrace that I'm not perfect-just like everyone else. Some artists and creators only show what goes right, but I think that can give a false idea of how life actually is. It can make women feel bad about themselves if they can't do it right the first time or if they can't make their makeup look perfect. Most of my viewers comment, "I love how real you are," and that's my intention. Is there a specific time in the video that makes you feel that way? I like to share my thoughts, mistakes, and ideas. I truly treat makeup as my art therapy. When I step away from my desk, I don't think about my makeup. I bring a lipstick to touch up and that's it. I allow myself to be free of it and enjoy the moment. I'm sorry it gives you anxiety. Please trust that I don't have that feeling when I'm filming. I love every minute of the process.
