Scafell is the highest mountain in England standing at 3210ft. Start at Seathwaite Farm near Seatoller, the walk is gradual as it follows Derwent River up to Stockley Bridge. Things get steeper as you head up Grains Gill, as you carry on heading up to the plateau at Esh Hause. This is the perfect lunch spot. Head west up the back of Great End and then head up to the rocky Scafell Ridge.
This is the last section of the walk, you will walk up past Ill Crag and Broad Crag and then onto Scafell Pike! The end of this walk. You will of course need to plan a route back down before you venture off, but all footpaths are found on the ViewRanger map!
