they teach you in acting to lose your accent so you can play different roles she has not lost it though its still in her plus as we age our voices can change I used to have an accent as a child I am from Arkansas now if I get mad it may still be there or excited LOL

some actors or actresses can't get work because no one can understand them they have thick accent like for instance this actor Tommy Flanagan has 2 scars on his face from a bar fight he was trying to stop .he didn't think he'd get work because of his scars in fact he's been in sons of anarchy etc while actress Rosie Perez has a thick pourtiri Puerto Rican accent and I haven't seen her in a lot .

This just makes her look like she put no time or effort into her appearance and just went into her dads closet and grabbed one of his suits, which seems a little disrespectful to the award show.
