There are those things called mosquito spirales. Its specifically for camping, so it doesn't need any electricity. It would definitely keep your car mosquito free. Maybe it does even work outside for a little area around you. If you have the possibility you should buy one for the rest of your trip. Seeing you so happy during this trip makes me also happy.
