It's been a very busy and social March for me! There were lots of personal life events going on and I've just been enjoying time with my loved ones so I haven't been vlogging as much. I'm also going through a little bit of a creative rut and I'm trying to give myself patience and grace to overcome it. There may be some experimental videos coming up so stay tuned! I discovered your channel last year and your weekly/biweekly/monthly vlogs are such a bright ray of sunshine in my days because I truly love watching you go about your day. I am an aspiring data scientist/ analytics professional so I am always interested whenever you show work stuff, but everything apart from work stuff is also so interesting to me. I am sorry you got a comment like that that made you question what you are doing. You might have a format that you adhere to but that does not make your vlogs repetitive - I thoroughly enjoy your vlogs so much. 2 years is such a long time, wow. When I saw the beginning part of the video I thought your dad was going to China for a few months but yeah, parents are such incredible figures in our lives. Even though we are independent working individuals we always like having our parents around us. Also the fridge cleaning lmao reminded me of when I cleaned mine 2 weeks back and almost threw my back out because of how arduous it was and I had been postponing cleaning the fridge for a while now. I’ve been watching your channel for maybe about 6 months and I don’t find your content to be repetitive, but I will say your vlogs are very simplistic-by that I mean I would like to know more (on a deeper level) about your life and your struggles. What makes you happy and what makes you sad-what your goals and aspirations are. I think that you, Julia, only want to let your viewers in just so much and I get that totally. so you shouldn’t feel self-conscious or that your content is not interesting it is, but I think you should also realize that the more you show us about you, the more engaged we will be with your life. Always great content! Two things: for the noise at night, if you have not already done so, I recommend ear plugs. I used work at night and sleep during the day, ear plugs were a life saver! In regards to the comment about repetitive content, I'm glad you are not taking it negatively. I recently re-read Don Miguel Ruiz's book The Four Agreements. One of the agreements talks about accepting what people tell us and then we make an agreement with ourselves based on what the person said. Accepting the repetitive comment would be making an agreement with yourself that your content is indeed repetitive. Hopefully the time you have taken away to be with family and just be Julia, is an opportunity to make the changes you feel you need to make. Stay awesome, Julia! 😊👍🏾

Content creation can naturally be draining just for the factor that you feel like you always have to come out with something new and exciting and creative. Obviously please prioritise your mental health and don’t feel pressured to post if you don’t feel up for it but from someone who’s watched you for about a year now, one of the reasons I watch & enjoy your content is because of the normality of it, when you go about your life and talk about work and seeing friends. Everything will get better, and here lately when I've been in a rut, I've thought of the "there's always tommorow" song from the 1964 Christmas classic Rudolph th red-nosed reindeer. As far as the fridge, I feel your pain. My fridge broke last month, but unfortunately it was older so had to get a new one. Long story short after two fridges, yes, you heard that right, third fridge works. Glad you were visiting kin and also was able to get aid. After my experience with complete fridge replacements, all I can say is have a couple meals non-perishablevas was as room temperature beverages on standby but happy to know you get free food and such as well...

julia, i loooooove your content and don’t find it repetitive. i find it interesting and comforting! it feel like hanging with a sweet friend. i recommend a sound machine intended for babies (i use the yoga sleep rohm one). it has helped me so much, and i no longer wake up to neighbors, sirens, etc.

Hey Julia, I find your content relaxing actually. It may be repetitive but my life is repetitive too 99% of the time! Lol you’re just choosing to share your life with us which I appreciate. I just find a sense of comfort in watching how other people live their lives. And I know on the internet most of what we see is only the good stuff but that’s fine. These videos are a little 10-20 minute escape from my repetitive life so please continue with your content but only when you feel up to it. Forcing things won’t bring joy. I enjoy all your videos from hauls/try ons to ones about your job even though I know nothing about being a data scientist. Your editing, music choice, and demeanor is what makes these videos enjoyable and calming to me. And sometimes on your videos I just don’t know what to comment or I feel like my comment will be an essay long so I just stay mute. But please know we love your content and I appreciate your sharing aspects of your life with the public.

Also there are lots of content creators online. So if someone finds your content repetitive in a bad way then they can find someone else to watch. There’s an audience for all and most people like me follow multiple creators. Whatever mood I’m in depends on who’s video(s) I’m watching at the moment. So feel free to explore more creatively if it’s for yourself and your own enjoyment and/or growth but always stay true to yourself because that’s why we subscribe. 🙂

Personally, I don’t find your vlogs repetitive, but even it’s the case, it totally ok! Calm repetitive vlogs give a sense of being on a quiet island without problems and not having to wake up at 5am, do yoga and eat sunlight. They show real you, and it’s great. I think your life is pretty interesting to be honest. :) I’ve never been to NYC (I live in a very small city down south), so seeing people living in NYC is fascinating to me. My husband and I had been dealing with the same issue. Living in LA (K-town) is not easy with all the car noise. Everything changed when we started listening to white noice thru the night. It’s been a great change. My sleep is deeper and I feel better in the morning.

I don't mind if your videos are repetitive at all! I love your daily vlogs and seeing your routine. I honestly find all your videos so relaxing. However, if you are looking to do something different, maybe a video collaborating with a friend, like doing a video where you talk about a specific topic like body image, self esteem, relationships, a Q&A... But again, I truly enjoy your videos. It's inspiring to see diverse content and just you being you is unique! I actually find your videos so authentic and think it's such a breath of fresh air compared to some other vloggers who feel the need to do big extravagant things just for content.

I spent a few days of my holidays on watching your content. It is very inspiring to your daily life. It does not need to be non-repetitive. We as normal person all follow similar daily routine, and therefore we would not expect the content-creator to live a life that differentiates on each day. This is not realistic. As long as the content you present is real, it is a good one!

Hey dear , Take care 😘 I don't feel your content as repetitive . As a software Engineer who is working from home , I understand where this is coming from . Sometimes I wake up and try evaluating others life who keeps travelling or just chilling . But I guess somedays I feel blessed to be working . You are not decorating and just reflecting what and how exactly it should be . So don't be dissatisfied . Suggestion : you can do a month' favourite .like fav series , fav makeup, fav novel you read , fav resturant you had , fav purchase you made .

If you’re fridge is still out of commission, put some fresh coffee ground in a sock and stick it in the fridge. It will absorb the odors. Also, I don’t think your content is repetitive at all. I totally enjoy your vlogs and watching your life. You feel rather as a distant friend in NYC.

Julia!! You should try a hatch alarm clock! They're so helpful for falling asleep and staying asleep bc of the white noise. It also waks you up slowly with a sunrise which has helped me so much getting out of bed in the morning. Sending you lots of love!

I had trouble sleeping too due to noise. I use the Alpine Sleepsoft earplugs and now I sleep like a baby. I can highly recommend! Hope they sell them in the US too.
