I've experienced a happiness this week that I've never experienced before. And it's because I've noticed the change in my self-talk and I'm seeing some small improvements. I've been at this for a few years now and it's nice to finally see some of it pay off.

I've also discovered this feeling recently and it is so hard to describe. I've noticed that the less I think about situations or what others think of me, the more rewarding my internal happiness is. I try to radiate positivity with a little bit of humour and it somehow feels easier being in situations and controlling the way you respond. Each day is a stepping stone and you should be proud of who you are. I'm also really pleased for others who do well because they are doing something about their situation and realising that a change is needed and what is best for them mentally. I've struggled with anxiety in gatherings for a long time but I have learned that being present adds so much value and you do learn how much your presence is felt to those who really appreciate you. If you know you're doing good, then good will come to you twice as more without even realising it.

I beat myself up over some recent impulse shopping. As a recovered gambler, It was the same feeling that I got after a gambling loss. It was a feeling that loss of control. I took the items back but couldn’t get my money back as it was a pawn shop but bought something somewhat more sensible. Still it was a big financial loss and I realized I was trying to overcompensate. But I forgave myself and took it as a small setback and moved on.

To love yourself, try to FAKE IT UNTIL YOU MAKE IT. It’s a practise, it will become a habit. And it will help bring vision to the person you want to become. MANDATORY EACH MONRING: 1. Create an affirmation to choose the accurate and kind words about yourself 2. Focus on one thing you are grateful for, turn that resource into a step towards a goal BESY PRACTICES and WISHES for us ALL!

This was very informing, and i realize how important it is to check in with progress in the self love department because sometimes you will not realize youre making any and therefore behave as if you arent. I was bullied a lot as a child and sadly learned to internalize that and even though i came a long way i realize every now and then some critical voices do jab me, and as mentioned a lot in the form of "jokes". Recognizing strengths is good too I realize i dont give myself enough credit for those, because of course a lot of people will not credit you either any more than what you credit yourself or at all because they dont want you to feel any better than how they feel. This whole video was very eye opening thank you.

The biggest problem I had growing up was a mother who keep me “from being cock sure of myself”. She apologized when I went through a transformation in my 50’s, left my overbearing misery filled now ex-wife. I was surrounded by Irish Catholic women my whole life, and in the Irish sarcastic wit, and many were catholic school raised there was a tsunami wave of guilt and shame off the lips of many of them. Took me years, and still in progress at 70 to overcome TRIGGERS when I FEEL I am being shamed. Buddhist philosophy and walking away from the Abrahamic religions has helped. I live in Thailand for the last three years, and the town of Chiang Mai is a place full of energy to heal holistically, through therapy CPT/DBT, meditation, yoga, and just being in the land of smiles.

Wow. How validating 👏 thank you. So many of these things I chalked up to "maturity", but it's actually more than that, it's healing from being emotionally abused and enjoying the resilience of self love. ❤️ This wasn't/isn't an easy journey. But lots of solitude in nature, carefully chosen wonderful friends, and actively trying to eat right, exercise and meditate. Over 10 years... and I do feel better!!! 😌 🌹🥰🌷

"...I was wrong, I'm sorry..." Mistakes are human. To learn from them and be able not to repeat them is a blessing, even if it's only in disguise I notice I have difficulty listening fully when I am defensive, but today I am better and notice my faults in "hearing" what I was afraid of (a loved one being invalidated for example), not what she was telling me. I still need to put towards more effort in my chores and duties as a supportive partner, like attending to the building of my business and association. Thank dear Julia Kristina Counseling KZbin channel for seeing me through 🙏🧡

I immediately started crying when this video started... 2021 was the hardest year of my life. Lots of Julia, lots of therapy and doing the work, these were the bright spots of my year. ... Then this week I started a new job and it's just been overwhelming. It's like all that hard work and stress response is coming back to me and I feel bad for feeling bad! I know I still have some settling in to do, and I don't want to quit, it's so frustrating how I've come this far only to still have roadblocks. ... Coming up against challenges and questions this week, and also being comfortable with other's opinions, I think has triggered me

You say you have come this far only to still have roadblocks. What if I tell you that you haven’t even moved yet. There is no such thing as a “roadblock “, only an opportunity to overcome and grow…into life. Life is effortless, weightless in fact…God said yolk is easy and burden is light. You just don’t believe it. Time to shake off the weight so you can enjoy living life.

This is so good. It's really helped me realize where I am on my progress to learn how to love myself. I'm happy to see i've actually made progress, and i'm still working on not talking badly to myself, on asking for what i want or need, and i'm still working on being more present, where i'm not just reducing myself for the glory of others. Thank you so much for putting these videos up.

The first sign speaks to me. For years I've been able to notice what others have that I wouldn't mind having myself. It's had many effects on me and most were negative. So many different things! It could be a gift the way I'm able to do this but it's more like a curse.

When our brain hears us telling ourselves (self gaslighting) that we are less, it is not only self deprecating but through excessive use our neural pathways translates as a use and will nullify other areas to make up for the energy it takes to fire the message. This means that if you hear you are dumb and can't do anything right, your brain eventually "believes" it, based on "muscle memory", conceptually speaking. It's the same reason why when you work out your body you want to focus on groups (legs, arms and chest, back, etc) individually with periods of rest of 24 hours minimum so that way your body can heal, when it's healing it's healing the WHOLE body, not just the areas worked, it just knows that it's been torn and essentially engorged with proteins, that's building muscle, break down and build up, it doesn't know you worked your arms or legs or back, the specific muscle group you worked needs repair but your body is saying last week when I stubbed my toe and my mom dismissed my ideas and my partner got angry at me all comes rolling in slow down. Smell the roses. I'm so sorry for the heartache that one has to endure going through loving yourself, but being Proud of where you are and who you've become is even more astonishing than imagination can dream of. I would recommend to focus on strengths and network or make healthy connections with folks who have strength where you are weak, that helps with social integration of self perpetuating resilience. You don't have to NOT have any weaknesses, just be aware and able to maneuver or by pass if needed. Teamwork makes the dream work kids. I work everyday at this. Keep up the amazing work Madame Kristina and everyone doing this incredible life changing work in the Shift Society created by Madame Julia Kristina, I'm so relieved that links to The Shift Society can be found in some of the descriptions. Thank you Madame Kristina Counseling channel for all you do to make my life and so many others, Better together.

You = awesome 🥰🙌 I wanted to help you in return. I loved when you spoke about how “feelings” are a valid basis for deciding things. However there is a definite distinction between intuitive holistic meaning perceived in a way not amenable to verbalization, and a feeling from… say PTSD or something different or alien to your normal ways or thoughts about things. A lot of times words being linear and imprecise causes so much conflict! If you stop someone deciding on feelings from PTSD in a self-defeating way, then they might actually be able to follow the “good” intuition (which people call “feeling” and Star Wars also confused the issue -even though it’s fictional 😂 But I do want to commend you for this and you probably can guess that this is important to me because I have PTSD and had to learn to love myself and let myself benefit from my own creative/intuitive holistic understanding of life and who I am. Another way to let your husband see you more clearly is to focus on how you both define the terms you use. Also, it’s helpful to explain to someone used to using logic as a lever of control (we all seek control as kids so… 🤷‍♀️) that there is absolutely no way to scientifically prove the meaning of any series of words. Look at the letters and the words all you want, meaning is invisible and floats like a spirit above the words. 😂 Seriously it is an inroad with hard-headed people who mean well, and we do need logic -but it is a tool in a context like any sentence is, like any math equation is. Math without context is totally useless And even Einstein said it was very strange that math works at all and that reality can work mathematically… because science has no explanation for why. Even for Math! So yeah epistemology and psychology are my thing. I have known Jordan Peterson for 20 years now and I am coincidentally transgender too which is weird. To others, not to me. We live in a strange world. But I can assure you that I am stranger still. 😂 I also wrote a book about that meaning stuff 20 years ago about the time Jordan wrote “Maps of Meaning” where I show the entire universe as unequivocally a written symbolic information system intended to teach. Which is why I titled it: “The Textbook of the Universe: The Genetic Ascent to God” because as we learn and grow, we see more meaning in things. And there is a direct relationship between that meaning we see and our creativity with that information-which is one of a set of natural laws of information which I worked out in detail in the last few decades. So I loved this video and I can feel the strength and love beaming out from your soul between the words and I want you to know that and I wanted to have you for a friend too, but because of comments I can talk to you regardless of distance. And hopefully the great work of meaning that is life will come to the realization of what symbols are, what you and I are, and the invisible soul of meaning floating above all our lives. Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤️‍🔥 I just wanted to add an example I just thought of: YOU. You had the idea to make this video and become who you are even though you logically couldn’t even know what people you would help or in what ways. There’s a power in that which can only be unleashed by strength within, meanings seen with the heart like in poetry. To connect with the future in this way is a divine ability and you obviously have it. To fight for yourself is to fight for your gifts to the world and what you can give. But there’s no IQ test for that. It’s like the meaning between the words. The progress of life over time. Only Sadhguru Talks about it as “pure” intelligence as far as I have seen on KZbin. He gets it. How that is above IQ measureable intelligence. Again like your soul, like the meaning I know you see above these mere words. Shapes on a screen of space. The most important things cannot easily be seen or described-like the power of the “force”. 🥰 and right now I know a word formed in your mind even though I have not said it. The highest force, the most creative of all, when meanings are seen beyond all words and the tears of salt flow like mini oceans across the cells of the skin. LOVE. See what you did? I think I am really starting to understand what loving myself really means. Otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to write so openly about my thoughts here. My deepest feelings and the legitimacy of them. It never ceases to amaze me, or they never do-people that is. You have to properly look at yourself before you can understand your true worth. I believe every single person, whatever it appears on the surface, is here for divine purpose. Thanks again. I’ll shut up now, lol. You really got me going… lol I just hope my gifts with symbols can give you something too.

Hi Coach! Empathic Shifter here! #Shifter #SeniorShifter #ShiftSociety You know me, I love all these videos about anything to do with self-love, esteem and acceptance… I still admit (There is 7 - admitting my weakness 😊!) that I need to keep working on number 1! I think 6 is one that I am doing great! (Funny 6 is my strength in this list and here I am writing about it! Lol) 1. You are NOT comparing yourself to others nearly as often. 2. You DON'T get defensive when someone questions you or challenges you. 3. You DON'T need to be right. 4. You CAN also admit when you are wrong. 5. You DON'T talk badly to or about yourself. 6. You are ABLE to recognize your strengths and own them. 7. You are ABLE to admit your weakness (Without feeling like a terrible person) 8. You are NOT afraid to ask for what you want. If you think about it, Julia you are like Captain Kirk and your husband is like Spock. ;) See you later!

Has anybody read The Four Agreements and The Fifth Agreement? You ARE perfect, mistakes are just lessons if you dont learn the lesson you'll continue to make the same mistakes but whether you learn or not doesn't change the fact you are perfect. "Im not perfect" is a limitation when really- it's all an illusion. You're free to disagree with me of course but before you do, read the books. You may change your mind.

I don't really agree with the "ability to admit you're wrong" being a sign of self love. Admitting when you're wrong is a sign of maturity and emotional intelligence. It reflects a willingness to take responsibility for one's actions, learn from mistakes, and engage in healthy self-reflection. While self-love can contribute to personal growth and emotional well-being, it is not the sole factor that determines one's ability to admit when they are wrong. People can possess a mature and responsible mindset without necessarily having reached a state of self-love.

I feel like I can kind of make fun of myself at times (in a kind of silly, non condemning way). I think my relationship with myself many times is like a sibling one. I can pick on me or crack a joke at my own expense, but I’ll have to stop another jerk from doing it to me tho. Idk. Like as here. Do I sound “crazy?” but idc either. 😅😅 I think defensiveness with questions asked by some people in some areas are a thing I need to work on tho. Recently I realized that one person was really just asking me a simple question and I actually took it a bit the wrong way and started (unnecessarily) over defending my choices about it. (Like for example with the first one, I’m not so good at playing pool. I’m ok with that and I can make jokes about it but I’m not gonna sit there and let someone come over and heckle me about my lack of pool skills lol). I’m ok with that tho Bcuz I don’t care about playing pool anyways and so on and some guy tried to once and I told him to knock it off. I don’t think that’s the same as “oh you suck as a human.” I think I’m just ok with not being perfect so I find it humerous at times now Bcuz I’m just glad to know it’s ok and that I don’t actually HAVE to be great at everything I try. That I can totally suck at pool (or whatever else) but at the same time, I can still be a bomb ass human regardless. The “old” me had a much harder time separating all the times I failed at so many things from who I really was as a person. Aka failING vs BEING a failURE (or “loser” as the abusers used to love to accuse me of being).

Julia, you cannot Love yourself. The self that you are trying so desperately to Love is the mess that you think you are. Meanwhile within you is the real Julia. The Julia that knows no self. The Julia that is. If you discover her, only then you will truly know Love for the first time in your life. This Julia will overcome the world. No emotions, no fear, no anger, no hatred, no judgment, no insecurity, no stress, no anxiety , no depression, etc, etc No “self”. Only life.

This is a great list. I probably wouldn't recognize that these things are loving myself. So now I have a list, of metrics to see this. I'm an analytical thinker who is also highly sensitive. I have adjusted my sensitivity in some of the areas of my life. So I need to pay attention to my emotions, and I need to learn to manage them. I will still base decisions mostly on logic, reasoning, and data. Those things are just not always available. So I'm learning to use emotions as a gauge to try to understand what else is going on. I see myself getting some of the things on this list and I'm at peace when it happens. Analytical thinkers have emotions too. We just don't know as well what to do with them.

I think of improving yourself like upgrading an old car. You take a classic car and you customize it. The car is still a classic car but it ends up being unique and different.

The fact is the western mind likes to think in opposites, either or, dualistically. Logic OR emotion. There's no distinction beyond how you perceive it in the mind. The only thing that separates them is that you are making the discrimination to begin with. When you act on so called logic only or mostly, you will recognize emotion is the opposite, as the mind cannot understand things without seeing them as opposites. You will assign value to each thing based on what you perceive as its inherent substance. You compare, and then you start to attach to the idea that one has more value, making the other less desirable. This means you are in effect living out of balance, because nature does not operate in opposites or extremes, it operates in equilibrium. It follows that anything born of nature, like humans, should then naturally also follow this same principle, to successfully live as best within this nature. Everything just is. If there was not a human mind to say, "this is X, this is Y", nothing would assign it such value and make it so, things would just be neutral. We are the ones saying "this is good" or "this is evil". In nature there is no such concept because nature does not deal in concepts, they are of the mind. When you start to understand this you can live with nature, as opposed to against it. The human mind forces itself and its perceptions on reality, where no such things exist. Logical thinkers are not as "logical as they think", they might in fact be irrational, by any such definition. It would be like acknowledging day without acknowledging night, to use some imagery. Logical is not this superb concept of mind but in fact seeing reality one-sided, and in doing so how can one succeed? A much better way is joining logic and emotion, to use these concepts, or to see no such distinction and merge yourself, accepting and utilizing all facets of being. A former logical thinker, I now sort of laugh at the concept of logic being celebrated in our world, and these people being put up as some kind of superior beings, as they're half-way blind and don't even know. Emotion is not the weakness here, having made the distinction is. This made emotion into something inferior, when without that judgement its the same substance as logic. Separating it, one has made a weakness that did not exist. Now you will suffer from the consequences and barriers that comes with denying emotion (or the whole), additionally not utilizing the entirety of one's capabilities in living. Now one has only "logic" to rely on, as opposed to "both" (which are actually the whole and same). The point is that without judgement and just seeing things neutrally, as nature is (it makes no judgements), you can just let things be, accept them, and as such there will be no more "worse" or "better" values perceived (ie emotion is worse than logic), allowing for a full experience of yourself and life. You will not want to do away with, or seek anything because you no longer see opposites. Conflict ends.
