The US shouldn't do stupid crap like that if they don't want the world to know about it. Being publicly shamed is about the only check and balance we have now that no one cares about moral goodness.

"The US shouldn't do stupid crap like that if they don't want the world to know about it. Being publicly shamed is about the only check and balance we have now that no one cares about moral goodness." ..."moral goodness" is bullshit, you're either moral or immoral - there is no inbetween, there is no grey area, because morals, themselves, are inherently black and white. And that is why ethics and laws are so black and white, as well - because they're all subjective, based on the opinions of people regarding cause-and-effect.
@wynginit
@wynginit 24 күн бұрын
@@stephenkolostyak4087 A conversation with you would depend on your definition of morality. I would say it's pretty black and white to not take shit that's not yours and don't twist and manipulate in order to make money off of another's suffering, etc. It should be obvious but it's not. Common sense isn't common. Same reason why we have to have warnings like "coffee is hot". Now we post memes about the dumbasses around us to publicly shame them. But governments all want to hide their dumbassery.

@@IbnBahtuta Without people like Assange who report the truth about what governments are actually doing, you wouldn't even know what to be outraged at. Without freedom of the press, everything we're told is a 1984 lie. If they can keep Assange in prison imagine what that does to the "courage" of other reporters.

The only way Assange wins his appeal is if sunak is still butt hurt over our dismal Eurovision Song Contest score, from our close friends in Europe. As he can't hit back at America he will kick the Europeans instead. So, I guess Assange has two hopes. Unfortunately, those are, no hope and Bob Hope.
