I remember being invited to his 7th or 8th birthday party at virginia waters, i was 6.. The tree in the garden was covered in lollipops and i couldn't' reach them.. Julian ran over and passed one down to me off the branch. He's a great guy.. has his dads creative craziness flip side. I mean that in a nice way. : ) And as an environmentalist, i appreciate his love for the planet.

Some want to hear him sing John's songs, but if you hear Julian's songs, they are "absolutely more beautiful and meaningful songs". The music and words of the songs, photos and his humanitarian causes are far greater than what the media shows. I just wish the media would promote him more, He is so gifted, and the world has a take advantage of his talents now...not when he is not here. I don't want to see any artist being commended when he cannot even hear it anymore. When you think about it, John and the Beatles became much bigger after John's tragedy. I love Julian Lennon, the musician, photographer artist and humanitarian man. Great person!

Marc Bell - Don't get me wrong, given how Lennon treated his original family, I'm delighted his life with Yoko degenerated so soon into humiliation and misery, topped off gloriously by his being riddled. Otherwise he'd have been yapping away with his hypocritical bullshit and with his horrendous wife chirruping next to him into the 80s and possibly beyond (though since it looks to me that at the time of his death he had AIDS he may have croaked before Rock Hudson). Sorry John fans, I love John's music but as a father and human being he was a "piece of work". Very very angry man. Julian is waaaay more grounded. I'm 49 and have to agree with John Strauss. It's adds to the tragedy that was John's murder that he and Julian were robbed of the path of reconciliation they WERE heading down. No doubt in my mind that had John lived, they'd be very close today.

I love the fact that Julian and his mother took such great care of each other after his father left them in a very middle class way despite John could should of done much better for them maybe yoko was in control of John's mind and he became a beta male when it comes to your children there is no favoritism Sean and Julian where both his sons and no matter what you love them equally as for John both of his sons seemed to have inherited his great talents so he left both of them that and growing up the way his first son did made him in to a fine man to John they are your greatest legacy r.i.p.

I can only imagine, and sorry to use that pun, the horrible things you had to just accept in your young life and keep going on. I know that your father was famous, but I don't think that excuses the awful things you had to cope with regarding him. John may have been a very talented man, but he can't even compare to you Julian, in your composure, your forgiveness and the wonderful man you are. You are my hero and I think you're pretty amazing. Keep shining your light out there. You represent everything good that your father could have been, but you actually are. Don't get lost out there in the fake world of the rich and famous you've come to know too well. You're too good for that. There's so much more than meets the eye to fall in love with about you. There are MANY Lennon tribute acts out there, Julian is NOT a poor-man's John. He pays tribute to his father the way John would have wanted him to...by going his own way and making his own music. Absolutely - he sounds eerily just like his father in "Valotte." However, I LIKE JULIAN MORE as a person than his father. His father was anti-God and pretty much too full of himself while Julian is more humble and "evolved." According to Julian, this is because of his mother's positive parenting of him. He's very close to her and she obviously loves him very much. Something John neglected to show him. I love Julian, he's fantastic. I really wish people would stop comparing him to his father. He's 51 now for Godsakes. He has his own success apart from his famous name.

Yeah,my mom is kind of my shoulder,as well as my sister,they're pretty much all I have. My stepfather Robert as well (sort of,when he's here,and not working), But my mom and my sister are pretty much all I have and whom I lean on,but..my sister won't be here much longer,the smoking is killing her,she can't seem to stay out of the hospital,so we take it one day,one step at a time) she's getting ready to join the other 3 siblings in heaven and our dad(if that's where he is frankly,lol). Mom will be the only one I have after she's gone. But for now,those 2 are all I have. They're very supportive of anything and everything I do. So mom is like your mom was to you.
