It was an honor to be inducted into the 2024 Class of the Martin Luther King Jr. Board of Preachers, Sponsors, and Collegium of Scholars. It was a particular honor to be acknowledged by the esteemed Dean Lawrence Carter, whom I have admired since my days at Morehouse College, nearly four decades ago. He has a brilliant mind and is a master orator. This was indeed, a very special day in the life of Julian Owens. I am honored and grateful.
