Juliana Carver - Rushed to the Emergency Room (July 28 2015)

As you know our daughter, Juliana, is fighting cancer for the 5th time. She started more chemotherapy about two weeks ago and the effects hit her two days ago. On July 28 her temperature started climbing. We called her oncologist and rushed her to the Emergency Room.
As I upload this video (11:23am July 29) she is still very sick but she does not have a temperature at this time. This video shows some of what she was going through on July 28.
Thousands of children are struggling with cancer right now. Thousands more have died from this horrible disease. Only 4% of research dollars, from our government, go to help find cures for Pediatric Cancer.

I watched a childhood friend go through leukemia. She passed on but fought for her life. The saddest part was I wasn’t able to see her before she died. Her parents never told her she was dying, and didn’t want everyone visiting and losing it in front of her. My mom went and said it was very hard to keep her composure. I think they should have told her so she could have said her final goodbyes . Denial is not good for anyone’s soul in this situation. At least your daughter was surrounded by love ones and friends in her final hours. She was a brave courageous girl. Truly inspiring the amount of bravery she had.

Hi. I have been struggling since my father passed away Nov. 2017. It is difficult for me with my surviving mother. I follow your family videos so as not to feel too sorry for myself. I loved all of the adoption videos very much. The cancer videos are harder for me to watch. Thank you for new flowers on display at Juliana's grave site in rural pasture, video most recently posted. Am I way off to suspect her cancer may have been related to a nuclear power plant disaster on border of Belarus & Ukraine?

I had a port for almost two years when it had to be emergently removed due to severe sepsis that nearly killed me and put me in the hospital for a month in mid December 19, 2016 thru January 16, 2017. Watching a port being accessed without a mask on really gets to me because central lines can get infected easily and when mine did I also had a monster UTI and a fever over 105. If there is no blood return and you can push the fluid in without pain it’s in the right spot. No blood could be a fibrin sheathe and all that’s needed is Cath Flo in the line. I’ve had 12 central lines and I have number 12 that’s lasted for 4 1/2 years so far and I asked for not another port but a Hickman. No needles and safer for those of us who use ours daily. She went through hell and didn’t deserve any of this

I have so.much respect for John Hopkins the Mayo Clinic and the Weitzman Imstitute at Kaplan Hospital in Rehovot Israel for their cancer research and treatment. Stanford also is an outstanding institution. I have so much respect for you and Juliana would be proud to know the profound efect she had on me. May she RIP. I have quit a few relatives die from.cancer and took my Grandfather to his chemo treatments and sat with him in the Hospital to another relative who had cancer two times and it came back so strong. I know how hard you worked for Juliana and I know how hard it is to deal with our perplexed medical field.
