Some new information. Invader PC has first year onsite warranty now! Woooo Also Aftershock actually do cover any components with warranties' longer than 3 years. like Ram, PSU and GPU. then I ask why don t they put it on the website? Apparently it's because it generally very confusing to the regular consumer which is a majority of them are. but if you're unsure just ask the AS ppl

That's conflicting, I actually asked them again through their live chat and their Tiktok live show during IT Fair 2023, they say all their PC components are a fixed 3 years warranty (1st year onsite) since the warranty is covered by them (they source their components directly from the manufacturer) and not from the distributors like Corbell, Convergent, etc. So you are basically losing out on long or extended warranty like Zotac GPUs (3+2 years warranty) which they usually use on their builds, PSUs (3 to 10 years warranty depending on the brand), SSD/HDD (3 to 5 years warranty depending on brands) and the RAM which is usually limited lifetime warranty.

Hey Julien! Thanks for taking the time to review our systems and website! We just wanted to clarify something about our warranty for you, starting from last COMEX itshow, we actually have been providing 1st year onsite, 3 years parts and labor and lastly individual parts warranty ranging from 3 to 10 years based on distributor or Manufacturer warranty. But I can see why it's abit confusing on our site, we've since made the changes and wish to thank you again for giving us your feedback! Hope this information helps! Feel free to let us know if you need anything :D

If only aftershock provide better option for their motherboard selections, stop using a Tier 3 PSU on their pre-built and have better individual parts warranty instead of a standardized 3 years warranty for all of their components. (I remember RAM being limited lifetime warranty, SSDs up to 5 years warranty, PSUs up to 10 years warranty and Zotac GPU is a 3+2 years warranty.)

If I wish to change anything, I'll swoop out the case and CPU stock cooler for a case with RGB fans and an aftermarket CPU air cooler and then add in a AIDA64 3.5inch screen which I can order from Aliexpress. I'm quite into aesthetics and RGB stuff so this case wouldn't do for me.

Just got my pre-built from aftershock. I have to say pre-built is about luck as well. Maybe the companies got their (unpopular) parts at a bulk discount. Scale of economy. Buying their parts from a new brand. A lot of factor that will result in the difference of price. I have spend some time looking through some sites and finding out how much some of my parts are worth and there are times where I felt I could have built it myself. However prebuilt are good for learning on the go. For example, the aftershock "zeal m" case turns out to be tecware vxn evo case.

A couple of things in this video that just stem from plain ignorance as a long time customer of dynacore : 1. You do know Invader is a prebuilt service that's originated from the people behind dynacore right? 2. I understand the concept of this video, but why is dynacore being targeted as the only 'sim lim shop' which offers prebuilts when its a store that excels at customer's individual needs but instead is compared to other system integrators like dreamcore? How about other sim lim shops that offer prebuilts as well such as bizgram,viipc, pc themes ( They have their own lines of prebuilts like azure and vermillion ) Where is the 'research' on these other shops ? Why is there just a bias towards dynacore ? 3. You say in the video that you are going to build a pc at sim lim for a 1000 bucks. I like that you want to show beginners how to approach a new hobby but why are you only showing tradepac to buy your parts ? why aren't you comparing various other stores and their price quotes to see if you can fit your 1k budget and get better value for money ? Every store has different incentives like better cpu+mobo combo/free installation/differing warranty periods/free game codes etc. 4. I'm a long time customer of dynacore for 5 years. They have always acceded to my every query and demand and I have built atleast a 100 full systems from them for my friends and family with few/no issues. The main salesperson there abdul has always gotten the best parts for my own personal builds with little incentive for himself just to put the customer first always. A prime example is when I wanted the new 4090 suprim x liquid gpu which was basically non-existent at launch in singapore (small country problems) and out of the 3 units brought in by corbell, he went the extra mile to get 1 for me. So I am very confused by this 'touch and go' review of dynacore on a metric that sim lim shops normally do not do very well as they attend to a customer's individual needs and those advertised prebuilts are rarely sold as stated as salespeople always fine-tune the specs of said prebuilts when a customer is interested. Sure, them not responding to you via email and having poor specs on their website is a valid criticism, but you should do your due diligence and compare every other sim lim shop that I've highlighted that does prebuilts as well. I hope you can do another video purely about your experiences in different shops in sim lim when buying pc parts to bettter inform pc building beginners and I'm sure dynacore will rise to the occasion.
@JulianTechTM
@JulianTechTM Жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your comment. I admit I didn't go much in-depth on their physical store. but like what you said You understand the concept of the video. And going into too much detail in which shop here where shop there is (to me) unnecessary and will be too confusing to the " not techy" viewer which this video is design for. To answer your 1 question why did I "target" Dynacore? because they have an option on their website for prebuilt with very little information. 2. In general all Sim Lim stores sells their online prebuilt at a higher price. So my conclusion would have been all Sim Lim Online PC stores were overprice and bad. but then again it's not the point of the video. 3. Because the video is not sim lim stores vs other sim lim stores. The video is prebuilt vs DYI . As I asked in the video, what would the my viewer want to see, more on the online store or more of the other prices. and 1 thing that you can suggest is more of sim lim store. 4. You might be long time customer and I don't doubt they are a good store. but have you tried the other stores? have you tried Vii PC. have you tried Bizgram Asia have you tried tradepac? Yes Dynacore can give you exclusive parts. but is that the point of this video? no. Some sidenote. have you watch my other videos about Sim Lim square? have you seen how I tell my viewer how to shop at sim lim square? it's clear that you didn't. I never tell my viewer to go to tradepac. I always say to go compare yourself. Now I think you're saying all this out of emotions because you have a good relation with Dynacore for that I am sorry. But do know I didn't make this video to intentionally bad month any company brands or viewers. I'm surprised that anyone would be so worked up about this. I made this video answer the question prebuilt or build it yourself.
@gmornish9384
@gmornish9384 Жыл бұрын
@@JulianTechTM Isn't it unfair to every other sim lim store for you to arrive to that conclusion for that 2nd point ? I admit I have bias towards dynacore but its not kind that you brand every other sim lim online pc store as overpriced and bad without showing it in your video ? Sure as you say it's not the point of the vid but won't the average joe take it that way ? I know I haven't seen any of your other videos but a pc beginner who clicks on this vid as it pops up in his search might walk away with a different impression that you intend. Would be helpful to reference your other vids in future vids next time. A beginner might just see your generic vid title as all-inclusive and have a bad takeaway.

@@gmornish9384 Well you can have your perspective on what the viewer will take out of it. But I believe what my viewers will take it as : Prebuilt is good for service/warrnty. DYI is good for value. But maybe you're right, maybe you know my viewers more that I know my viewers

@@gmornish9384 only other company that actually sell prebuilt PC onlinein Sim Lim is Vii PC. The rest sell induvial parts. but Vii PC don't market their PC as "ready to ship" PCs. but even then, they stated that there is onsite warranty. only think is expensive. furthermore like I said not comparing which is the best because it's unfair to judge them at 1 price point at that include DynaCore. again.... it's about Prebuilt vs DIY.
