I've tried that chicken potatoe broccoli casserole before, and while it did taste delicious it took a long time to get the potatoes cooked and some were black from not being covered in enough liquid. Great meals and very kind of you to share. They only suggestion I'd make is to write on the foil (or an a card taped to the foil) to remove the plastic wrap before heating the casserole. My grandma stuffed bell peppers: uncooked beef, uncooked rice, salsa. That's it. Mix it up, stuff it RAW into bell pepper. On cook day, place in crock pot, pour V8 or tomato juice on top, cook low 8 or so hours. We start it at breakfast for dinner. My sister does ground turkey with taco seasoning to change it up.

ATTN: FYI. If you Shop Wal mart. Be sure to weigh your Things if you have a scale at home or how ever you want to do it. Our package said it was 5.11 pounds of Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast. But things didn't look right when i took out about 1 pound of My Chicken to use in another recipe. so i plopped every thing back on the yellow tray and with the plastic and all and it only came out to { 4.11 pounds } and that was with the tray and everything. So I Went to weigh out some other Chicken and other trays of meat I bought as well. For these meals and some others I am doing , I was so very upset buy the time I got to weighing 3 more. One was { .49 lbs } under with the tray and every thing ( not Open ). Another was right on but that is with the tray and the wrappings. And the other one was { .32 } over. With the prices giong up and up and up and getting cheated what we are paying for and i am noticing we are paying for the wrapping as well at what ever price we are paying per pound for things. In My opinion that is not right. Not right at all. Shoot some red meats cost $8 to $9 a pound. Just weighed the tray and wrappings . . . . ~ AND ~ it weighed 8.2 Ounces. @ $2.98 a pound !!!!! That is like $1.49 for trash that will be thrown away!!!!! I could be wrong but they shouldn't be charging us for the cost of the tray and that meat juice azorber and the plastic wrap and all per pound. *** You only have 30 days at Walmart for the Day of purchase to fix things like this. I asked and she said it don't happen often but it does happen.
@VernosiaM Жыл бұрын
So what end up happening I had to pull more chicken for the Chicken Broc and Cheese bake and then i added the last pound of my red pots and just added some more onion and then some whole milk to add to the cream. mixed cream and milk and S&P, Minced Garlic and Italian Seasoning and and mixed it and then measured out everything the best i could after some weigh ins and ended up making 6 trays for the 3 of Us. I just Me and My 2 younger boys but they 11-1/2 and Newly 13 and they eat good amounts. But We had one for tonight and 5 for the Freezer. :0) Woot! WooT! Took me longer to figure it out and fix things due to things. Oh and i didn't have enough defrosted Cheese so that took some figuring and time as well. But we got it accomplished ...hehehe. So Worth it. Tomorrow after Company Leaves the 13 y.o. and I will whip up the rest of the freezer meals the best we can But Thank You so much Julia for all you Do for Us. My Younger Fella is a Special Child and I am so needing Freezer meals. Even with me closing down My Schooling I still Home school them and I was about to relaunch my 2 businesses in March of 2020 But we all know what happened there. . . grrrrr stupid C-19 , , , grrrr. Oh well maybe one day soon. I still need more time and have been struggling with meals. The Little Man's Issues and Challenges got waaay worse in 2020 due to lock downs and etc and loosing contact with people and family issues that came out of the whole C-19 and waaaaay too many losses in the past 4 years. over 13 [ i stopped counting after that[. Some due to the C-19 some not of Family and Friends. So i need and want to spend more time with My Boys and this and the other freezer meals i am making and replainning things is soooo going ot HELP Thank You so very much from the bottom of my Heart. Thank You ~

You mentioned your sister in law is pregnant? With the slow cooker pork tacos looks absolutely delish, but is she okay with having the crushed red pepper flakes? Just wondering because I've known pregnant women who develop gerd during pregnancy. As I said before the recipe looks great

OMG I'm Mexican and just watching you make that chilli and the enchiladas made me cryyy!!! guuurrrrrl that's not the way we make iiiiiit. Just makes me wanna cook some real mexican food for you so you can try the real flavor. btw enchiladas are definitely not a freezer meal here in Mexico, they have to be made in the moment.

Is it faster to prep (NOT COOK) the entire casserole then separate OR separate 1st & cook them individually later?

I’m confused about the foil wrapping on the pizza. The cling wrap is protecting the pizza, so what is the function of the foil?

For the chicken casserole you've written "thaw" on the foil and cooking times. Any thoughts on whether this can be baked without thawing, or if not, after thawing do the instructions mean that you bake for 40 minutes covered, and then an additional 15 minutes uncovered or are those two separate cooking times depending on whether it's covered or not? Forgive the ignorance LOL.

Hi Julia!!! Oh ...I must say that these are all just wonderful. What great recipes for me a older gal who's alone now. (except for my pets!!!) . Sunday I will be making the first recipe. I'm going to double it so I can give my daughter half. I'm going to put it on soft tortilla shells. Then freeze any left overs.Then another day over rice. Can't wait to try it. I was buying the pork tenderloin anyways. Really I was. I didn't know how I was going to make it but now I do. Yummy!!! I know these will all be great I will make and freeze alot of these. Take care 🙂.

I use reusable tupperware instead of aluminum throw away and plastic bags, after a few years the quantity of trash i generated really started to bother me. Other than that nice video keep it up

These look so good and it is SO nice to have a bunch of meals ready to go in your freezer, I cannot wait to try some of these! The last meals I made from one of your other freezer prep videos turned out fantastic and these look every bit as delicious! I have several friends and a couple of our neighbors that are expecting babies right now, it would be great to be able to make some of these for them so they can have a home-cooked meal whenever they'd like. Thanks so much for all of your amazing tips and recipes, Julia, you are so very appreciated!! :)

If you’re not going to use the diced tomatoes in the Turkey & black bean chili recipe should you sub that can for another can of tomato sauce?
