Have you ever even listened to the original? It has some of the best bass instrumentals I've ever heard in a pop song. This cover is great but she does way too much. The bassist that recorded this played with Floyd and a ton of others
@daviddowsett8916 Жыл бұрын
@@Terminxman yeah grew up hearing original and it’s still there whenever you want to hear it. Been there for 34 years. Also, if you want to hear Julia perfectly recording classics with very little deviation, she proved she’s the best there is at that back when she was a teenager. You can certainly feel JPG did too much in the first 2 minutes, but name me anyone who could make the last 3 minutes sound that dope. Tens of thousands of people will hear this track for the first time because she’s remixing it. View this as a remix. She doesn’t post that often, and when she does, people want to hear her go ham on a track. Because she’s consistently elevated tracks, and doesn’t miss.

Every instrument has so called sound envelope that is composed with four phases: attack, decay, sustain, release - ADSR in short. What You're missing is A-D phase that in original is relatively long and passes immediately to sustain phase. Here You have strong A-D phase because Julia has exceptional finger speed leading to very dynamic start of each note.
