Glad others are noticing Bernadette Peters. As she was singing I was going back in my memory to when I first saw her on film and I think it was *The Jerk* with Steve Martin. So I thought, Gee, she's got to be in her 60's at the very least. My surprise when Wiki says she turned 75 a cpl months ago. I want the name of her plastic surgeon. She looks absolutely fabulous.

Oh my… I‘m sitting here with tears rolling down my cheeks. What a beautiful tribute to two great ladies and their friendship of almost an entire lifetime. They must truly love each other, and that is beautiful to see. And it is SO great to have them still among us, in good spirits apparently, and I wish them so many more happy and healthy years together as friends! I love you both, Carol and Julie! That's the type of friendship/sisterhood that everyone needs. They've been each other's support through the loss of husbands and Carol's daughter, Carrie. They were there for the birth of children and they have that sort of verbal shorthand that is only possible with old friends. What a gift to see it!

Of course she had to have plastic surgery for those injuries...but I do think she has gone a little overboard in recent years.
