@@Kaysxedits Sorry for the misunderstanding. She did not play the character Mata Hari. She played the character type in Darling Lili, also starring Rock Hudson (miscast in my opinion) and directed by husband Blake Edwards. Great movie with a lot of help from Julie.

Julie was excellent but the script for this 1968 musical film was so slow and plodding. Some musical numbers were so dated. This movie could not compete with the excitement of seeing Barbra Streisand in her first film role, the musical Funny Girl, that same year. Film almost sank 20th Century Fox after the dismal disaster which was Dr. Dolittle in 1967.
