The saddest thing about these movies is when Phelous adds in stuff (the birds here or the mountain lion in Birdemic) I honestly can't tell the difference. I legitimately thought that Mountain Lion was actually in Birdemic until I saw the movie for myself

Wait, at 16:21 it shows that Julie won the Alan Turing Award. Alan Turing proposed the Turing Test, in which a computer program must be able to convincingly imitate a real human. That kind of foreshadowing is way too smart for this movie!

Strangely enough this movie seems to be put together better then Birdemic, which isn't saying much, but it's funny to see that each every movie James makes is less competent then the last. Yeah Birdemic 2 had an actual crew, but in terms of what James did himself it's even more incompetent then the first one.

I just realized, why are all of James Nyugen's movie protags a rather good looking but bland white guy with dark hair and square jaw, and the love interest is always a blonde woman with zero personality? I'm kind of concerned about this, I mean, he's admitted the main characters of his movies are just his self-inserts right?

I don't think it has anything to Do with race it's just he is not a good director and the writing is bland
@lunayoshi7 жыл бұрын
Nah, I agree that there's a trend. The lead in Birdemic 2 had to dye her hair blonde for the movie, and it seems to me that Wooden Rod was hired for his look rather than his "acting ability." He's definitely got types and tropes he likes to use. Since they're always computer (insert computer part here) salesmen that made millions like he did, it comes across as a self-insert.
