Yes please more Feng shut! We bought our first house, the master bedroom was small so the trick was placing the bed against the window, but let me tell you, I had almost no sleep at nights and completely disturbed . I changed the bed direction, placed the headboard against the wall, and bingo peace of mind and good sleep followed. My dresser had a mirror facing my bed from the side, again it made me uneasy. I asked my husband to remove the whole mirror thing. I never heard the name Feng shui even, and didn’t know what it is, but I always listen to what is right for me🌹

Good afternoon Julie, I discovered feng shui a few years ago , since then I have corrected a few problems. I remember that in my garage I had mirrors and when I learned that mirrors double I understood that there was a good chance that the garage somehow was coming back to a huge mess. It was ugly. I was sitting there organizing as often did. Went online for ideas and someone was talking about feng shui. I gave the mirrors away and eventually my garage was in order. But I wanted more. I wanted a beautiful garage. In that house I moved mirrors to correct issues. We moved. This garage is perfection! Very organized. I have beautiful cabinets, epoxy floors, it is finished, painted... everything I wanted. I give away ASAP when I don’t need something any longer sort of baby stuff since I have developing children and the grow out of stuff fast. I also learned about feng shui in plants and colors. My front door is supposed to be blue, however my husband refused to paint it. My solution... I made a beautiful door wreath using blue. I loved your solutions. What a wonderful combination you are a professional designer and know about feng shui. I love your facility to communicate. Your vocabulary is so rich. Specially to me since English is my second language.

I lived in Wyoming 3yrs 3mos and than moved to Indiana March 2022. Its been different to say the least. I learned about Feng Shui back in 1982 rite out of high school. I spend lots of time back than as a young single female in Book stores. I luv to read. I have purchased books that I still have & hold on to as tho they are a bible to me. I truly believe in Feng Shui. It may also have to do with just alittle that I have Chinese in me on my moms mothers side, way back. I been told bye a Korean physician I had for years in Santa Ana that I have the Asian birthmark on my booty. And I told him about having Chinese in me. Asian people always do a double take at me, meaning they see me & than look at me a second time examining me. I think its cute. I say to myself yup they see the Asian in me. I really enjoy this Feng Shui content and I plan on watching all your videos. Happy New Year Julie Khuu and to your immediate & extended family members.

I donated a lot of negative energy to Goodwill.. there are still a lot of positive energy sucking areas though. I also have a bird and the little monster eats plants and plays with any shiny objects. I like your armoire ideas so I moved the one I had and turned it into a newborn closet... his little space is ready. Everyone loves it! Now I have to figure out how to redo our entry way (inside, outside and all around it). It's an open space with no walls, or hall... basically you walk right into the living room. Our house is old and honestly one that's been neglected for decades by previous owners. It's been painted over and over covering perfectly nice wood in some areas and not at all in very important areas. I have my work cut out for me.😕 as a single mother it really puts a strain on my family but with your expertise and guidance, I know I can make it work!

Hi Julie, I am a Feng Shui advisor. It is funny how the Universe puts us through "training" so we can be of better service to others. I was guided to buy this house sight unseen and move South not knowing anyone. I find that this house is actually built for an East group person, and I'm the West. There is only 1 room that I feel comfortable in, SW My health sector, "romance corner" The bedrooms do not offer me a good sleeping direction. The main BR has the bathroom behind the headboard. can not move the bed... Looking out my front door, I see an abandoned old trailer, straight across. Out my kitchen window is the side of a nursing home. "W" O'it's a fun place here. lol I feng shui'd and remedied. My tenant said, "This place is feng shui'd huh?" I said, Yes! and it's staying that way. There's a mother in law apt here in my money corner. After moving here.... I learned alot and I still am learning. Thank you for your videos. Thank you so much for the fabulous cures. I have recently bought a house that the front of the house is facing south (feng shui says it is a very auspicious home because of the sun and chi). But do you know anything about head placement when you are sleeping in the bedroom? The house is still being built but I am wondering if having your head in the west direction plays a role to anything? I read somewhere that one shouldn’t sleep with their head north and feet facing south as it has to do with death or the earth’s magnetic force?

Hi, Julie. I’ve so enjoyed watching your videos on design, and am now sharing your feng shui tips with friends. Years ago, I purchased numerous books on feng shui, moved several times, and didn’t retain much. Your presentations have such a nice energy, and I got my friend to take down a large mirror that reflects his bed. Simple! The door opens four feet to the right of the head of his bed. He’ll consider moving it, but wants it as close to a north-south axis as possible. Does feng shui deal with this? Also, my small townhouse has my bedroom door on a slight angle. I’ve been wondering about it, actually said aloud this morning, “Well, Julie, what about this?”. I’m delighted to have found you. Looking forward to all new videos as I enjoy many previous ones. Your voice and smile has me smiling. Thanks so very much.

Hello, I have the same issue in my kitchen. I have stove and water sink across each other and I can’t change anything as I bought a brand new house. I put a pothos near my watersink. I have another question as you have mentioned my frontdoor opens directly to my street but it’s perpendicular. Idk what should I do?

I love your videos! So when the stairs are facing the main entry but not directly facing the main door, is that okay? Appreciate your response! Thanks
@JulieKhuu3 жыл бұрын
It’s a smidge better, but technically the same effect as directly facing the entry door since chi will travel in that general path Gabe

Great video! Quick question: I know refrigerators are water (and need to be in the kitchen)--but where would you place a free standing freezer? (As in, just a freezer that sits directly on the floor.)

I would place it on the same north wall if you can Megan

Such a great informative content Julie. Thank you so much. Now I do not know what to choose. Maybe you can advise me. It is either the bed under the window with heavy drapery infront of the window or placing the bed on the only sollid wall where the entrance door is also placed. Please advise.

Aloha Julie! I had a question about My front door which opens into our living room and is directly across a window. Do you have a suggestion or cure so Chi doesn't go directly out the window? Hi Julie. You should definitely do more feng shui videos!! ❤️ I have an issue with keeping my bathroom doors shut. I have cats, so their litter boxes are kept in the bathrooms. Is there anything I can do since I can’t keep the doors shut?? Thank you for your time and videos!! ❤️🌺
@JulieKhuu4 жыл бұрын
You can install a tension rod in the door frame with a long curtain instead. You may even leave a little space at the bottom, the intent to “block” the bad chi is there 👍🏻

Love all of your content, but I've been really focusing on fine-tuning energy around me. My kitchen set up is linear: the stove is between the sink and the fridge. I feel like the water elements are dousing the fire auspicious energy. Thoughts? Also, my bedroom window faces a busy roadway outside. I put up privacy glass, but still feel so anxious at night with all the traffic. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Julie, what is the remedy for thus condo i just bought a month ago? It lacks a south corner which according to my feng shui master is the prosperity location for the next 20 years, he is recommending i have it rented out next year or sell it, but i just bought it! 🍀 the 3/4 sector of south corner is missing and only 1/4 is present and is occupied by the stove and fridge! ... should i rent it out or sell it next year? It's an expensive area and i think it's a a good investment!

I started watching your videos recently and loving them :) My kitchen gas stove and sink are opposite each other but in East and West direction. Do I still have to follow the guidelines of placing plants/metal...as you mentioned in the video for North and South direction?
@JulieKhuu4 жыл бұрын
Yes, they will cancel each other out any time they are opposite one another, no matter what direction they are in. Place something metal in between if the kitchen is located in the eastern sector of your home. Plants always help chi flow better.

Hello Julie...wonderful videos. When I point my compass to the front door from inside, it faces West. When I point it to the front door from outside, it faces NE. Which direction should I use? The brick of the house is light gray mixed with other brick in gray and light blue and white. The windows are white. We are going to put exterior black shutters on each side of the window and have painted the front door black. I don't really like yellow, dark pink doors are per NE indications. Not sure what to do.... I'd appreciate any input.😊

Stand at your front door facing out Maria- that is the compass direction to use.

Hello Julie. I have a question in regards to a mirrored sliding door unit along a wall in bedrooms. You mentioned that I can remedy the problem with applying wall stickers on the mirrors. Can I use a decorative film that is semi-opaque white where you can see a fuzzy outline of your reflection or does it need to be completely opaque. I enjoy your easy to understand Feng Shui concepts with images and examples. It feels less intimidating. Thank you for your efforts.

The more opaque, the less energy will bounce around Barbara. Do what works for your design intent 👍🏻

You know Julie, my family has been practicing Feng Shui for more than 100 years...sort of passed knowledge. The issue of mirrors in the bedroom for us is more like .the soul doesn't rest...in fact whenever I sleep somewhere with a mirror facing the bed I wake up tired and drained... instinctively too..when I move houses I have to experiment bed position.. sometimes not ideal for decor but I can rest more ..thank you always for you are so didactic!

Hi Julie! Longtime viewer of your channel, first time commenting. What is the best cure for our master bedroom? The door opens to the center of the room, making the only wall big enough for the bed places the bed opposite the door. I understand this is the "death" position, the worst position possible, is that correct? The only other wall big enough for the bed contains two windows and is at the low part of the vaulted ceiling. How do we solve this issue for our master bedroom?

My front entry door is across from stairs . I have a bench with shoe storage beneath it. Is that ok? I also have a rectangular mat with rectangular designs there. Should I get a circle or round mat with circle designs? Should I have just one thing or can I have multiple? Sorry for so many questions. But…. My living has my fireplace in the corner. My front entry door does not have direct line to the back door but I can see it. So does having my sofa in the path with a sofa table behind a good way to block or slow down the Chi or should I move it to the window? Thank you in advance for your answers.
@JulieKhuu2 жыл бұрын
Front entry is ok, but you need more Crystal lighting and plants so the chi doesn’t rush outside. A sofa and table can definitely help block the path of chi to the back door, so this is a good move. No need to move anything to cover the back door, your intent is there Anita 👍🏻
