@@wolfferoni I think that's my issue because the way I see it, you can be extremely intelligent in some ways and still totally lack common sense. Just as an example, I work in STEM and some of the smartest scientists I've met will baffle you with their lack of common sense in some areas and can come across very dumb. But when they talk about their specific field they're the smartest person in any room. I just think himbos are sweet attractive goofballs with high emotional intelligence, and that's the main definition. Being dumb is a common way to portray them in media (because comedic value) but not the only one, and that's not the defining feature imo. Sure it comes from the word bimbo which has been used just as a synonym for dumb women for a long time. But both these words have been reclaimed and changed to have different meanings. Such as someone attractive who is presumed to be dumb because of how they look but actually isn't.
